I doubt it would have happened without the miracle of IAPs. I'll gladly take my Zen Garden and run, though. Although with Last Stand, who would ever need to buy coins?
holy shit ._. doesn't the tree take 200k for it's last hint? i got that on my ps3 and it took me a lot of time to get there... if that's the case then i won't bother getting this version
Nice to see an update. I hope this means further development in the future (Retina, for example), and that it wasn't just a one-off to meet some EA IAP quota. I'd buy Peggle HD if they made that Retina, too. And fixed the iPad 1 launch crashes that have been reported for months.
So with this latest update does this bring the game up to speed with iPhone version in terms of content?
When this additional stuff first came out for iphone/ipod, I have played the earlier version twice and bought everything that could be bought up to that point. I had enough coins to unlock the full Zen Garden and 2 mini-game-packs immediately. Starting the game with Zen Garden already available, it will be even easier to get enough coins to unlock everything. Just get the Zen garden at the earliest opportunity and tend to the plants there, which is not onerous.
So that should mean I could possibly copy my save from iPhone version over to iPad version. I'll have to try that when I get home.
I heard PvZ2 will be release soon? how true? I'm having a second thought buying this game. I can still wait for pvz2
I've seen zero evidence of a second PvZ and seeing how they seem to port the first one to every platform possible I can't see it releasing anytime soon.
New update and now survival is locked... Have trophies in all of them, but it won't let me play them now.... Ugh popcap!
This game now has more modes and features packed into it then 10 other games combined, it's the most approachable game from a genre that's been insanely popular on iOS, the graphics and humor are top-notch, it has hours and hours of gameplay, and the iPad version is the best version on any platform. Many would tell you it's one of the top 10 iPad games in the entire app store, myself included. How could it possibly not be worth the current asking price?
AT least my reason for considering the price is not worth it is that i bought it for my ps3(15), for my ipod(3), for my PC(10) and for my DS(15)... only completed it on ps3(Completed everything there was to do, even upgrading every house and a 500 feet tall tree) though, but still... i will wait for a sale too
