Yeah, that's ok. No offense intended. I refunded two apps, too. But they were broken. But there are always people who abuse the system.
They should be more careful with app descriptions its mis-leading. I thought it was because of open gl 2.0 so I checked and next thing I knew it was downloading because I had entered my password before. And seriously its 3 dollars. Even if it does work like that its 3 dollars....\ EDIT: Just got an email I got a reply that said I will get an email back as soon as they can give me the refund its all good now
You have no clue how you appear in this thread do you? You are the misleading one! First you want to "check it out" but "accidentally buy it" on your iPod which would not even SHOW you an app that is incompatible. Then when you "buy" it, you try it, and say you don't like it so you want a refund. Looks like plain and simple buyer's remorse - nothing else. But you are indeed hurting developer's that way as Vovin stated. Hope you never complain about a sale because - well, "seriously its 3 dollars." Like I said, you have no clue how you are coming off here do you?
No I bought it by accident then someone on the forum told me to at least try it. Its laggy on my 2nd gen and I think gameplay wise its a terrible game in my opinion(dont flame). Lol and who complains about sales if you bought it and theres a sale oh well nothings going to change it so there is no sense in complaining EDIT: forgot an example. when nova 2 went on sale for 99c it didn't even care lol I paid 7 bucks because i wanted to! People who got it on sale lucky them! Also why is this discussion still continuing I got an email saying I'll be refunded its all said and done theres no need to continue on an issue thats all ready over with
The thing is, people want to know how you accidentally bought it. Even if your password was typed in beforehand, how do you accidentally click the buy button, especially if you're on your iPod? That requires a double tap on a tiny button in the top right corner.
Ok so I bought atari greatest hits before hand so my password was already entered k? I saw aralon on the aapp store while searching for games and clicked it by accident. I saw a message that said ***NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 1st and 2nd GENERATION IPODS AND IPHONES!*** or something like that. Now on iPods for apps like these I wanted to see if it was simply just incompatible or if it was because of open gl 2.0(both of which when you hit buy it will pop up with a message and not allow you to install. Next thing I know I almost pass out at the thought 10 bucks was just wasted. So maybe devolpers should update there app descriptions so its not really my fault since crescent moons didn't update it to say it is compatible with 2nd gens.
It's continuing because you look like an idiot for "accidentally" making a purchase on your ipod that does not allow you to purchase an incompatible title AND THEN making a thread about it when you could have easily googled an answer or searched the Apple store help FAQs for the obvious answers. If it continues you only have yourself to blame.
You clicked the buy button of a $10 game to test out a theory? What the hell? On the iTune page, it clearly says it's compatible as long as you have the iOS 3.0.
