Twitter could also be a candidate for a beta channel.

We already have a twitter feed http://twitter.com/TactileEnt where I talk about the game and other game news :)

Follow me and I'll follow you back, then we can all discuss the game all day long :)

You don't know how excited I am for this game. The art style and concept is amazing. I really like the idea of the creature morphing or changing it's apperance over time.

It would be interesting if you keep the creature in more sun light it's skin lightens and if kept in darker areas the creature becomes darker. If you feed the creature strange plants maybe there can be interesting outcomes.

I think it would be cute if the creature could keep one of those little critters you designed as a pet and bond with it, and then maybe one day out of the blue the creature will eat the little critter. Depending on if you feed the creature plans or other creatures could help determine what he or she looks like.

I feel like this is a huge project that you guys can keep expanding. I also like the idea if there are some side stories, like helping the creature discover it's origins and maybe find a hidden city of other creatures.

Or take the creature exploring to a jungle or beach and have it interact with the other wild life. Teaching the creature to fly, swim or climb trees could be cool as well.

Keep up the good work :]

Hi Lsatblu, you have many great ideas here!

I especially like your idea of the creature having a pet of its own - and the thing about it eating its own pet is hilarious :D Do you have any more thoughts on how this might work out?

Some of your other ideas are already in the design and being implemented as we speak. After we release the game we will continue to develop the game and add features through free updates. We aim to keep the game fresh and surprising for as long as possible.

    Thanks for the great feedback!

    Hi there!

I can see either the little critters being attracted to the creature, as in they follow him or her around and the creature is either welcoming or annoyed. I can see the little critter as a fun tool for the creature to play with, mess with and if you don't feed your creature enough he may just eat the critter out of survival needs.

Hope this helps, I will let you know if I have anymore ideas. I usually do. :]

Wow, it's like a "Tamagotchi within a Tamagotchi". I actually really like that idea. Maybe you could even take it a step further and every once in a while introduce a new creature that wants to be your creature's pet. If you elect to accept the new creature (which would be in place of your current one) then the current one gets jealous. Maybe you could even have pet wars!

You could add a black hole button that when pressed, everything, including the creature, gets sucked into the ground, and after a few seconds, the creature falls from the sky and then all of the items fall on his head in a comical matter(couldn't find better words than comical matter, lol). Also, has anyone suggested weather? Blizzards, thunderstorms, extreme heat, floods, tornados, hurricanes, tsunami, etc. would be cool. Thanks!

    More great ideas, thanks! :)

The pet having a pet is great. Perhaps the personality of the creature determines which critter it chooses as pet?

Regarding the black hole thing - we already have a feature in the game that is a bit similar - with stuff getting sucked up - but I'm not telling what it is yet :D

I think it would be awesome if you could add creatures that the main creature has to fend off. Example: Some sort of big feline creature, and depending on the mood of the main, depends on if he will survive or not. You might even want to add a means for the player to help him fight.

I know, it is similar to Pocket God and the T-Rex. But I love that aspect, and it could be done so much better.

    another thought:
what if you could, via bluetooth/wi-fi network, flick your critter onto the screen of another iphone (much like the way 'Mover' works).
Your critter thing could then beat the crap out of the other phone's creature...maybe also steal their stuffs...or if it's in a boringly good mood just be friendly
    and such

I wouldn't mind seeing rival creatures (npc) also come and invade your world, taking food and stuff that you could feed to your pet. I can see this being expanded so much it is crazy...some more ideas.. Being able to plant and grow crops to feed your creature, buildable structrures, like a tent for the creature to sleep in and keep warm or a jungle gym.

Also being able to grow flowers and then use the seeds to feed the little critter bird-like creatures. Having a garden, fishing, cutting down trees and being able to change the world would be crazy. :]

Edit: To expand on the customizing of the creature...You talked about being able to alter him throughout the game. I mentioned earlier powers such as flight, breathing underwater, digging underground, etc..would be very neat. I can also see some of these altering the main power of the creature..

At the moment he or she appears to be electricity based..maybe if the creature spends a lot of time underwater it develops water powers or if it is near a volcano or a heat source too long it's powers turn to fire. I would make these changes take a long period of time to occur...

I like the flower idea. to make it more interesting, though, your creature should randomly come across seeds to plant. Some of them could produce weird mutant like plants that eat your pet :)

So many cool ideas here! I think multi-player will be a "must have" update when we get around to making it :)

I also like how the environment could affect the creature. It's an idea we are discussing at the moment but your take on it is very inspiring :)

I could imagine updates containing new areas to visit where the creature will have critters to play with and new abilities to discover and experiment with.

How would you suggest the creature learns these abilities - just being near, say, the volcano - or will the player have to "train" it by throwing lava at it?

    Keep it up :D

Rofl. Yeah, either by tossing in the creature or him accidentally falling in. Or perhaps maybe some kind of mini game. The idea of fighting other creatures sounds fun so maybe there is a fire god-like creature in the volcano that once beaten you acquire his power. Or there can be strange plants growing between the rocks and ashes that when enough have been ingested you begin to see some side effects. ie. puffing smoke at random times and lighting things on fire and then maybe it can be trained by casting the power on objects and the critters near by.

I love the idea of different worlds that can be released in future updates. The scene in the screenshots looks very pretty with bright green colors and flowers. I imagine visiting a hidden cave somewhere that leads to some ancient sculptures that possess mystical powers. At the end of the cave maybe it leads you to the side of a mountain with a great view.

I can see a beach scene with a hammock for the creature to sit on and a mini game of collecting wood from the nearby forest to build a camp fire. Swimming in the ocean (even if just the shallow area) and trying to catch fish would be fun.

I'm probably going overboard, I'm just very excited to get my hands on this game. Looking forward to beta testing it =P

@Lsatblu lot of content in those ideas, but it all sounds like fun :)

Hopefully we will be able to continue to update this game for a looooooong time after launch :)
