Not a bad idea! We have actually been talking about a feature much like this, but I don't think it will make it into the game before launch, but perhaps as a later update :D

    Hi guys,

the development running along nicely. I spend most of my work day slapping the creature around making it insanely mad - I'm that kind of player :D

You can also follow the development of the game at my blog: http://tactileent.blogspot.com/ or follow me on twitter: http://twitter.com/TactileEnt where I write about the development and my workday :)

IS there an option to flick the little guy, so he could bounce around the screen like crazy? Ala pinball.

Btw the game looks AMAZING! Ive been waiting for something like this. Please make this a fully alive animal. Not just a pre rendered path that he repeats again and again.

What are your plans for updates?

What is the price going to be?

    And great job!

I Think its been mentioned but the ability for the creature to evolve, get sick and basiclly die off would be amazing.

I saw concept art on your page that would be great for the different ways the creature can grow up! And what would be amazing too, is depending on how our animal evolved its enviorment and the different animals living inside it morphed too. And when our animal dies off a small warphole sucks everything into the middle of the screen, it explodes and everything is put back to its original state, and our little critter is just a tiny tiny baby. And I MEAN baby not the purple guy we have now.

Obviously this would take part in a long time frame. We cant him dying so much! And it would be great if we get all the evolutions and OMEGA one would be available. Basiclly the emphasis would be obtain the multiple evolutions. And this could be presented as in world objects you can manipulate; you know like trophies or toys for our little pokecat creature.

What do you think of this idea Macdaddy?

Wow Jan, you have many great ideas here! Some of them are already in the planned design and others may come as later updates :) I can't say which though :D

Right now we are looking at all the features we want in the game and all the suggestions on this board. We want to launch with as much stuff as possible, but we also have a clear update strategy. Like the creature we want the game to evolve :)

i know it's only a little thing, but i would suggest you pay a lot of animation attention to the idle creature. to make it feel truly alive it needs to have more than a handful of basic idle animations, so we're able to get attached to the little fellow. i imagine this is something you've already discussed, just thought i'd put it out there.

    I second this also! :D

We are putting a lot of effort into our animation system and animations to make the creature come alive - playing with a dead creature quickly becomes boring :)

To Jan; Yes you have some ideas I hadn't thought of - thanks! :)
