Very wise words. Again, it would be good to keep in mind that 4 days ago most people here didn't know this game even existed. Two weeks from announcement to delivery would, in normal circumstances, be seen as a very fast turn around.
If Warpgate has a set release date (13th) I would imagine the developers have chosen that as the release for the iphone version? As far as I knew developers have no idea when their game is going to come out so I am guessing Warpgate has already been approved and they have chosen the date as was the case for Plants vs Zombies edit: As much as I am waving pitchforks at Apple, I wouldn't be doing it if I didnt know the game was in review, I feel so lucky we aren't looking at months of waiting as you would expect for a game like this!
Well there is a Warpgate dev posting and based on a couple of his posts along with the TA review, it seems to be a prediction of approval vs. set date. You could be right though, but it doesn't look that way.
Ah right I see. Wasn't there an approval time thread somewhere on the forum, maybe that has some recent stats? Would be happy if this game hits Friday or Saturday morning so I can get some good play time in when everyone else is rather than getting home from work and being a couple of levels behind.
Yay PL is out! *logs on* *sees all level 30+ people* O.O" That's what most people would be like if ipad version was with the iphone/itouch version
I'm going to plug one of my fav. new apps so people have a game to pass the time. For all of you waiting, go and download Solomon's Keep. It might be the best $.99 you ever spend on the App store. It's been keeping me occupied while I wait and I'm loving it.
The thing is, it really doesn't matter, since you can always match up with people of around your level. In a away, those people who are playing on their iPads are just as desperate to the iPhone version approved, since it will immediately quadruple the number of players available and improve the whole feel of the game. EDIT: I second the plug of Solomon's Keep. Great game at a ridiculously low price.
I tried that and didn't really love it all too much, but I'll give it another chance on my 14 hour bus ride tomorrow. I would also suggest Dinosaur Slayer and if you're slow like me and haven't played it yet, Hook Champ. That game seriously kept me sitting at home for 5 hours trying to 1 up Kepa's score to be on the top of my local leader board!
Well you have to love dungeon crawlers to like Solomon's Keep. Also, there are some technical issues that are likely turning some people off, but those are getting fixed in an update which should be available in the next week or so. A second update will be on the way soon after.
Oh I have a PL question...I'm sure this is already discussed, but I've missed like half the posts on this thread. Hopefully someone doesn't mind answering this again. What are the different classes, Archer, Warrior and Enchantress? Is an enchantress a mage? Also, is there a healer? Finally, any other potential classes getting added into the game later on)
the enchantress is kind of half Mage, half healer. Think of it as the main 'support' class. Oh and yes. I believe there's plans for more classes later on.
Ok, I'm sorry if this has been answered but I Dout it. Does anyone know if this will launch with a friend system like WoW. It would be great until the guild system is launched.
There will be a friends system implimented and as far as I know there will be guilds in future updates
*sigh* whats with the delay. the ipad version and iphone version should of been released simultaneously THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!!!!! WHATS THERE TO REVIEW??
Well hello, FFXI! Japan, PC, and PS2 people were all playing on the SAME servers...but came in at different times...so this is nothing new to me
Hello! Still nothing huh? Bummer. By the way, if you want to be added to the PLP list, then PM me because I don't usually check the whole thread so I might miss people.
The moment this does come out 100 different people are going to post it on the iPhone/iPod Touch Games section at once...
