I love this take on chess... Oof I mean I love this not having a take on chess wait that doesn't make sense I love this take on not chess! There. Should be fine now. Congrats on the new game!
I do like chess, I use to play a lot but haven’t for a long while now but it looks interesting since I like puzzle games anyway.
Looks great! A definite download. Will there be any kind of endless mode? How many levels? Or are they procedurally generated?
I’m mostly interested in this, but time-limited puzzle games are generally a turn-off for me. are the time limits like “Whoops, you took too long, start over!” Or more like “You weren’t fast enough, so only 2/3 stars”?
Thanks! Right now there are 60 levels, planning to have around 100 before the release date; all handcrafted. No endless mode planned for now. After much consideration, I decided to get rid of the time limits, or at least make it an optional feature. Thanks for the feedback; many beta testers felt it’s a bit off as well.
Not Chess got updated -> More levels added in the "hard" category to put your brain muscle to work! Coming reaaaallllyyyy sooon
