Preorder is up $8.99 usd. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kingdom-two-crowns/id1477991646 Announcement: https://www.kingdomthegame.com/news/2020/4/2/kingdom-two-crowns-coming-soon-to-mobile Steam release trailer: Mobile coop previews:
So is this a brand new game or just a multiplayer mode for Kingdom New Lands for mobile? Because some of these "new things" exist already in the PC version and I was wondering what was so new to justify the 10€ for the game.
It’s a sequel. It’s actually the 3rd in the series, and has been out on Steam for over a year so you can find plenty of info on how it differs from the previous game.
I’ve never actually played Kingdom but I’m seriously considering ordering this I’ll check out more info online. But I just seen that it’s launching with an update, deadlands crossover with bloodstained: ritual of the night and shogun. Never heard of them either but it all sounds good along with the game already sounding interesting and I believe the first was pretty popular? Edit: just watched a review for the switch version and it mentions that they promised to add online co-op play. The couch co-op is great but for me online would really be cool without anyone to play with unless I can get my wife to try. But does anyone know of that part is coming to iOS? @macplash are you getting in on this one?
Don’t forget it won’t be on release but it is something they are working on. Which is good for me because I’ve never played Kingdom and hopefully it’ll give me time to get half decent before playing with others. Online co-op should really be more of a thing, so much more fun than competitive pvp.
@ste86uk Yup, but you know, we can trust these devs and Raw Fury right? And I already got the previous Kingdom, it's a really nice experience, and I'm up for more. Another thing that pleases me is that cross-over content update is coming to every single platform at the same time, which shows me they care about iOS. If someone cares about our little community, I care back!
@bx59 I’m pretty new to these devs and the publisher but it is looking extremely good and I’m not questioning my pre-order at all. I can’t wait for it! Should I read up tips anywhere on how the game works or is it more fun just to discover it all yourself?
@ste86uk what you mean by you being new to this? So you’ve never played Kingdom: New Lands? How is that even possible? It’s awesome! Definitely check it out whenever you have a chance. That being said, this new one is a no-brainer for me.
@macplash no I’ve never played it, I guess I never really looked into it and the price put me off from bothering since I didn’t know anything about it anyway. With the new one coming very soon now it’s probably not worth getting the first one anymore is it?
@ste86uk I’d say sit on the first one, wait for your pre-order, and enjoy the journey without avoiding any spoilers initially.
@ste86uk in your case, with the new one coming I wouldn't buy the old one for a full price of course, but it's been on sale for 3 bucks multiple times, so I'd suggest to put it on your Alert list? Just in case it goes on sale again during the new one's launch. Seems like plausible scenario.
