This looks interesting. When does it go to a ‘Doom’ style of gameplay. Is that when you land on a planet or space station ? Proper controls for it. It’s not a simulation ? edit - yep seems proper a doom type gameplay. This looks great. Time to pre order !
Yes there are ground missions you can sometimes get which start the FPS mode with proper controls. Even controller support. Those sections are not the focus of the game, they are optional. I liken them to the hunting mode in Oregon Trail. Though you could theoretically skip them in this game and get your resources elsewhere. There is even space combat!
Wonderful!!! How is the space combat? Does the player has a first person view? Another question: is there only one ship to pilot?
Space combat is from the bridge view and you get direct control over the movement and firing. You can also adjust power ratios.
No you just have your one ship. The focus is on the delivery and management aspects, the action elements are more akin to mini games though they are not neglected in their implementation!
yeaahhhh, i've been waiting for this beauty for a long time, and in the meantime i’ve played the Steam version... the game is great, can‘t wait another week
