why do they work only in the us? its really unfair and apple really has to do something about it, a lot of people are missing out because apple is mean to other countries.

I'm sure it has something to do with legal stuff.

But you could also make a US account to use those :p

Its not illegal. But it breaks apples terms and conditions. Nothing serious. At best(or worst for you) all apple can do is block your US account someday. But it rarely happens and since you never paid anything, it wont be too much of a loss for you either ;)

SO feel free to give it a try :)

Dont quote me on this but I`m sure you`ll be fine. Just try and not use any iTunes US gift cards. Coz if someday Apple does close the account (worst case scenario) then you`ll not just lose the free games but the ones for which you paid in cash too. iTunes can handle upto 5 different accounts so nothing to worry about losing your other account`s apps too :)

    Yes.
I have four accounts, one for Canada, one for US, one for China, and one for Japan. Absolutely no problems so far. The only hassle is that sometimes apps get updates, and if you're in the wrong account it'll say "no updates are available at this time", even though there are clearly updates available. You just gotta keep switching between accounts to find out what those updates are.
