Ashflow Well-Known Member Jan 9, 2011 787 0 0 MI #3 Ashflow, May 4, 2011 Do you know what the minigame from TWEWY (The World Ends With You) is? It's called Tin Pin Slammer, and I think it'd be perfect for iOS, especially if it included multiplayer. Sorry if you've never played TWEWY. pka4916 Well-Known Member Jun 6, 2009 2,584 0 36 Male Wisconsin #4 pka4916, May 4, 2011 Would like to see a 3d Adventure game. Bigsby Well-Known Member Apr 24, 2011 57 0 0 #5 Bigsby, May 4, 2011 zombie games there are tons of zombie games in the appstore but why doesnt't anyone make a game in which the hero is a zombie? he could be chased by an angry mob and you win the game by turning everybody else into zombies! that would be aweesome! WizMan Well-Known Member Aug 18, 2009 1,659 0 0 #6 WizMan, May 4, 2011 The video has too much techno in it. I look forward to smashing monsters' head as obstacles and they make weird sounds when destroyed. This is the sequel to Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, which is one of my all-time favorite games, with over 500 hours of gameplay, and it was originally on the PSP, so it's not entirely out of scope. Not to mention the fact that the series is hewg in Japan, so Apple could get a stronger foothold there. The real reason I want it in the app store, though, is that it is Japanese-only right now and I'm dying to play it! If I had the iPad version, I could app-swap between it and Translate (Google) and actually understand what was going on. Sure, I could get the Japanese PSP version and still use Google Translate, but then I wouldn't get a free code for Puckerz, would I. DarwinAce Well-Known Member Apr 13, 2011 121 0 0 #13 DarwinAce, May 5, 2011 i would love to see a Master of Orion MMO.. but properly made, like space empires, and without all the stupid make 1000 friends to win and spend all your time watering other people's crops and stuff. A well designed gameplay maybe similar to Kingdom Conquest might be a great bet. A title like "Master of Orion 4 Online" would attract some serious attention if you could get hold of the franchise. There has been a lot of people who own both devices and it would be great if you can create something similar to NDS, or maybe better. You use the iPhone/iPod Touch as the controller, either NDS lower screen or Wii controller, and use the iPad as the screen. A dancing game where you use the accelerometer of the iPhone/iPod Touch and sends the data to the iPad which measures up whether you're actually dancing in the same moves as shown by the game on the iPad. Just an idea that may still be unexplored, Eric djflippy Well-Known Member Mar 9, 2009 4,441 0 36 #16 djflippy, May 6, 2011 I nominate this person as the winner. They could call it MOO4theiPad. Protektor Member Apr 26, 2011 23 0 0 #17 Protektor, May 6, 2011 Actually they did make two games like that for the original XBox. Voodo Vince (not a zombie but similar idea) and the other one was Stubbs the Zombie. I will send messages to the winners shortly. In the meantime, it's a good idea to talk about stuff like the ones you posted. Any similar threads like this in touch arcade? I'd like to continue this elsewhere without the contests and giveaways, just pure sharing and creativity. Protektor Member Apr 26, 2011 23 0 0 #19 Protektor, May 6, 2011 Suggestions How about an app that tells me what today's winning lottery numbers are. The idea of a 4X (explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate) game isn't bad but how many people are going to put in that many hours on a game unless it is on the iPad where it is more comfortable. If your looking to crack the iPhone top 25 game apps market then your looking at three things. It must cost only $.99. You need to be able to play it in short 1-5 minute bursts. It can't demand that you remember a lot of detail about where you are in the game from the last time you played. I would love to see an remake/update of the arcade game Gauntlet with wifi/blu-tooth support for multi-player. There is no story line, unless you want to throw one in. It isn't an RPG it is strictly an action game. You can do 1 level at a time, so 1-5 minutes. You don't need to remember what was going on from last time. The bonus is that Gauntlet is listed as one of people's favorite retro arcade games. If you wanted go 3D, you could look at some of the newer arcade versions of Gauntlet.
