If she ever met me, she'd hate me because I'm apparently one of those "attention whoring freakshows that think theyre creative and shit becasue they wear mismatched rainbow colored clothing". I'm certainly not a freakshow, and I believe myself to be a creative person--not because of the clothes I wear, but because I choose to think about things that I feel matter more than whoever's famous at the moment or what someone's wearing. I actually went to her blog and read through her blog post. When I read, I was shocked and appalled by the things she said about making friends and being socially acclaimed--and I wrote something that I felt she needed to read. I haven't pressed the comment button just yet, but this is what I wrote: Hello. I read through your entire blog post just now, and I believe that what you said about making friends is rude and wrong. Do you understand that your egotism is seriously hurting other people's feelings? Evidently, you do not, as you have hurt mine. Yet, I'm popular--among the teachers and faculty at school, and with people in other grades. Not because I'm someone who sits on a pedestal and lives to demean and ridicule others' personalities and lifestyles. Not because I'm someone who is pretty with a lot of money and always gets the best things. I don't live for money or countermanding someone else just because they're different. I'm this way because I choose to accept and embrace others' differences. I am this way because I choose to be humble and modest--and ultimately, respectful toward others. I am this way because I choose to focus on the things important right now--not anybody's social status, but schoolwork, and tests, and ultimately, my future. I understand that it does not matter how much money you have or what you look like--it matters who you are, what you say, your behavior, and how you treat others. If you are a person of good character, and you speak kind words, and you treat others with success--that is the key to successful relationships with others. When I see someone standing up for flippancy, hatred for those who are different, greed, and dishonor for family and educators, I feel sick to my stomach. I feel hurt because this is not the way that people should be toward anyone. You claim to be living a healthy life and I find this life you're leading is in fact, very unhealthy. Do you understand that millions of people are reading what you have written right now, and they are turning their noses up in utter disgust because you claim yourself to be perfect, and you claim to be superior, but when you say things like this with such vehemence, that only shows that you are indeed, a hypocrite. You are a fine example of hypocrisy--one who claims themselves as one thing, but their actions and words show something very different. I have nothing more to say to you except that you are a very, very bad example for young people, and I feel for those who believe that what you're talking about is the right way to live and choose to listen to your constant drivel.
