The team at QuickByte Games is at it again but this time, with a brand new twist on a classic. Laps - Fuse is a new take on the traditional progressive numbers match-3 mechanics that have been popularized by games like Threes! And 2048. Our team has played all of these games to death and we really wanted to discover a unique, one-touch controls twist, while adding our own personal QuickByte Games touch to the genre.

What we need of the amazing TouchArcade community right now are EXPERT PUZZLE GAMERS to help us and figure out the highest possible score in the game so we can balance the progression and difficulty before the final release. We are pretty good at the game ourselves but we are sure that some of you guys can put our high scores to shame.

The challenge of the game is based, like the title implies, around laps. You start every game with a specific number of laps and you need to launch your gyrating orb toward the center of the grid to make combos and reach the highest score possible before you run out of laps. Every match you make gives you back a quarter lap and making cascading combos gives you an amount of extra lap according to the size of the combo you just created. Advanced players can also use the switch feature which allows you to switch your current orb with the next one in line by bouncing it off any orb that is on the edge of the grid.
