Not easy but the feeling of success (five stars in a level) is mere overwhelming, I really love such puzzles. Thanks for the freebie! Generous: No ads, no IAPS, no limit—straight full version. Nice: Several translations (German, Spanish…) Featured in my blog. (I hope it will stay free for another 24 hrs or so because it always needs some days until the message is spread around that little world.) Thanks again! y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #7 y2kmp3, Oct 22, 2011 I agreed. This game needs a bit of time (and love) for words to spread around! NVX, have you considered putting the iPad version of the game on FREE for a limited time as well? This way, you get two shots on getting your game up on the iTunes recommended list and charts. In some sense, I think your game is better appreciated on the iPad with the bigger screen. Playing the iPhone version on the iPad is doing a disservice to the game's graphics. You may also want to fend off unjust criticisms because some idiots are putting down your game playing the free iPhone version on an iPad. Better to be proactive... nvx Well-Known Member Jan 7, 2011 195 0 0 UK http://www.nevonix.com #8 nvx, Oct 22, 2011 The sale is over now Thanks for your comments guys, its assuring to hear the project wasn't a complete disaster @syntheticvoid thanks for leaving a comment, I'll give you a cookie @y2kmp3 so far, both games are having difficulty getting fair comments let alone any unjust criticisms. We need to make earnings somehow, so only one of them will ever be Free at any one time, infact the HD version may never go as low as Free But it is a viable point, I'll keep it in mind y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #9 y2kmp3, Oct 22, 2011 nvx, I feel for you and am very sympathetic of your situation. Part of the problem is that this game's puzzles are admittedly difficult and are not easy to pick up. This is not a fault of the game but is an issue in practice that makes the game difficult to market. Did you get a lot of downloads during the freebie period? Like the other posters, I too wonder if more time is needed for the word-of-mouth to spread around about how good this game is. I think the biggest challenge is getting the initial buy-ins to hit that "critical" mass to get your game noticed. Touch Arcade is particularly good in doing this, so you are in the right place with the right audience. I know that once more gamers learn about it they will see that this is a very good puzzle game. I still believe that a longer free period for the both iPhone and iPad version is currently the best way to get the word around. Perhaps there is some study out there looking at the average length of freebie periods previously given out by developers of indie games that went on to be a big success in the App store. Please do not get discouraged. You have made a great game! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
