I have a macbook and an iMac, the first having twice the RAM of the second. I'm supposed to be working on a rather large video file and as a result I want to move some of my larger stuff over to my iMac.

Isn't there a way to boot up my iMac so I can use it for storage? I think I need to plug it in with a firewire or something....

    Anybody done this before?

Target disk mode? I think you connect the computers by firewire and hold T while you boot the one you want to use as storage.
