The nice thing I read on their website was that the mobile version WILL have in-game saves! So no more losing your progress if you have to put it away after a few innings. Super exciting. Just hope it's not 2GB or something.
Opening day was today so hopefully this comes out this week! Ahhh! This week will be monumental if this comes out. April is turning out to be a phenomenal month for iOS gaming.
According to their Twitter this has been approved and should be showing up in the App Store at any time.
The console reviews for this year's version have been awful. Hopefully, the mistakes have been tweaked for the IOS version.
That makes me chuckle. I'm sure they didn't fix it. Edited by a mod - Games out so the upcoming thread is closed
I knew it. I just knew they'd just slap the full console/computer version on iOS and not try to make it smaller. Man, I just don't have that kind of free space right now. Maybe once I finish other games and we get closer to the post-season. At least it'll probably look great, huh? Well, it sounds like it's loaded with everything we could ask for, including difficulty levels, full/classic-size rosters, and auto-saves in game. AND it's still compatible with iOS 7, which I was concerned wouldn't happen. So, all-in-all, sounds like it does fill it's 2GB nicely. I just can't download it yet. Let us know how it plays for you!
I played a couple of games so far (iPhone 6) and the first inning of the first game was super laggy but then it seemed to get better, it still hitches a bit during at bats on occasion.
