I'm not 100% sure to be honest, it's after 1:30am here so I'll have to wait until a programmer is awake to find out! The iPad adaptation is nowhere near finished, so I can't answer that yet sorry But keep an eye on our Twitter feed or Facebook page, or Touch Arcade of course, we'll post when we have some details to share
Ok, so i will buy on dayone the iPhone version and i will wait the iPad version too This is the best racing game on iOS , Can't wait When will be available
If the damage is bad enough, your side mirrors and front and rear bumpers will fall off, or your bumper can drag along until it takes another hit and then falls off I think there's around 30 achievements. Don't worry, you've still got 6 days to find some more room
Here's an interview which gives some more info (including the how the damage works). http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Real+Racing+2/news.asp?c=25815
Tell me about it... Both Firemint and Gameloft have put coal in the proverbial iPad stockings this Holiday... Thank goodness for Aralon, Infinity Blade and World of Goo. Otherwise, it'd have been a darker gaming Holiday season, than it already is. It's sad, as this game and the Gameloft games, look so fantastic. Oh well.
Don't blame developers, blame the way Apple penalizes developers on the sales charts for releasing universal apps.
Tough sell. Not because it's not worth the price, because I imagine it is. But Aralon and NOVA 2 come out on the 16th. Battlefield 2 may very well come out on the 16th. Dungeon Defenders could come out the 16th. As could a second Gameloft game, either Asphalt 6 or Shadow Guardian. None of those games will release for above 6.99. Which put this in the same boat as Puzzle Quest 2. A very tough sell for 9.99, considering the current AppStore climate. Chalk it up to bad timing. If I was Firemint, I would have sold this for 6.99, just so I could remain competitive. Even with MP, it's difficult to justify Real Racing costing $3 more than Aralon.
Pretty much every day in December is bad timing. Also, I think I remember it being said, that Dungeon Defenders would be released as soon as it's aprooved.
Are you saying that the $10 isn't worth it? Because I think it's totally worth it. I'd happily pay $10 for the multiplayer alone. Think about it, you're getting a big campaign with hours of singeplayer gameplay, great graphics, 30 real life cars which can be damaged and 16-player online multiplayer. I can see why they're charging $10 for it and it makes perfect sense to me. Many people bought the first Real Racing, and they are likely to buy this sequel. Also, aside from Asphalt 6 (which is coming in late December), there are no other racing games to compete with this December (that I know of). There are plenty of hardcore racing fans and I think they'll buy this game regardless of what else is being released. Real Racing has always been the flagship of iOS racing games (at least in my opinion) and I think this sequel will be very successful.
OMG i cannot believe what i see i will pay £ 20 for this game its lookig soooooooooooo soooooo amazing 16 player online omfg that is amazing what does 16 car grid mean ?
So wait, what's the file size? I saw someone mentioned it was large but I couldn't find the info here or on Firemint's site.
I've just read that there's a Standard version (300 MB) abd a expanded one (600 MB). Hope the cost the same through.
