It is hard for a car/race lover to drive his/her "dream" cars. I understand the issue with the license thing, just venting. I would rather have them giving us some "real" physics for each, rather than just "generic" FF, FR, MR and RR handling with lots of lots of vehicles. I cannot say for others, I think if you really love the game and the publisher has a track record of marking down her prices from time to time, you may wait, fine. (See Appshopper) But judging this version based on what we are given, I think this one is already at a "discount" , (and with countless free updates in the future, mind you), I see no reason I would not grab it at once and play it all the time. Especially when many are willing to pay 3 or 4 times the price (with no updatability) for NDS/PSP games with no-where-near quality (I would not use the word "inferior").
What did u say Omg i cannot wait for this game PLEASE PLEASE PLASE someone from new zealand record video when its out there going to be thousand poeple online playing this 16 PLayers OMFG
We can get expansive games, however they don't need to be expensive. Take for example Chinatown Wars. I paid $40 when it came out for the DS. On iOS, I could buy the same game for less than half of that.
About 25 hours till I can buy real racing and 53 hours till I see the full movie of Tron Legacy in imax 3D (already saw 23 minutes of imax 3d footage durning tron night.) we need a tron easter egg in real racing 2, add a light-cycle.
In 24 and a half hours, we will all be broke. Merry Appstore Christmas. It is now Appstore Christmas Eve. I'm just old enough to realize how hokey the original Tron was. I suppose that's why I cannot find any excitement for this remake. If you are young enough, you'd barely even realize what the original Tron was and this Tron would a completely new experience for you.
Im pretty pumped about this...... no doubt it will be the best racing game on the appstore after id say real racing 1...... we havent had any decent racers in ages, NFS:HP was a real let down IMO.
Woohoo, it's almost out - are you excited? I am We've been crazy busy but now it's just a matter of waiting for release, so I thought I'd catch up on answering a few more questions! While we're not announcing anything specific, we supported Real Racing 1 with some pretty awesome updates so it's a safe bet to expect that there will be updates! You can visit our support site at firemint.com/support and post ideas and suggestions there, I can't promise that we'll necessarily add specific things but we read everything! Unfortunately we don't have any real tracks at release. This is something we could look at adding in the future, but it's more complicated than you might think :/ If the demand is there, we'd certainly consider it. Don't forget, we've submitted a 4 player Game Center online racing update for RR1, which is just waiting for Apple approval! See above Did you see our gameplay video?
Awesome response! One more question though [which is broken down into several parts, but let's use "one" for the sake of clarity]: tuning! How in-depth is it? And I don't mean paint jobs, I'm talking performance upgrades, engine customization, suspension dampening, toe-in toe-out, tyre compound, gear ratios, how in-depth are we talking here?
