    EA spokesperson detector is ringing.

  2. Well, technically editing the clock is cheating inapp purchases, so it is in the same book as piracy in a lot of ways. Of course, I am not going to go that far with this line of thought, but you are cheating the game and developers.

It is getting bad reviews left and right. I sure hope too they take the timers out. Buying cars is fine in my book for faster times, but timers I hate.

I never said i did it, and that exploits only gonna work till its patched. its not really cheating the IAP perse its cheating TIME so you dont have to wait 2 days to play the game! LOL... but yeah i see your reasoning.

wouldn't you think that if you released this game and new there were timers in the game that you would check and see if someone could edit the time on the device and cheat there system? how could that bug be missed.

But I have read that this track is fictional? Which explains the liberty with which they have made it tight and narrow. I seriously just skip cup events on this track. Waste of time and money.

  5. Well, I am not really defending Firemonkeys, while I have been happy with them in the past, face it, this is an EA decision not a bunch of developers.

They weren't whipped and chained as you might like to think, but corporate offices hold a lot of power. Look what happened to Chillingo after EA bought them. They used to make great games, every week I would be excited about buying their games.

Now? Chillingo games all have inapps and go free in one month. And almost all of their games are junk.

It is EA's fault, bottom line. If you choose to believe this is all Firemonkeys idea, then so be it, but I don't think so.

No that's not what I said, exactly.
But bringing the admins policy or impressions of the admin is not game impressions and is kind of indicative of defred patterns (he is kind of a thing now).
And there is thread for that kind of stuff anyway so best avoided in a game impression thread.
Who F.Skoda is , well I wouldn't really know that anyway, but patterns are patterns and who really wants to be the next Defred.

Game was 2 years in development and designed to be freemium from the ground up. How do you explain this?

No, all the tracks are real places. That one is the streets outside/near their offices.

  10. I think Ninjackid is Defred...

What I meant was this track doesn't exist in real life. Or does it?

Ohhhhh that explains it.....OFF WITH HIS HEAD

    Lol :p

  13. Well, the game is designed that you can pay real money to skip the timer waits, so it is exploiting the inapp system. No one is going to jail. Anyway, that is not really my point, the point is that after they patch this, then everyone will have the same idiotic timer waits and won't be able to make the game better by cheating inapps. So this is just a temporary thing.

Yeah, I'm sure if they had any good beta testers, they would have found this exploit very quickly. Heck, I'm sure a heck of a lot of people are doing it now just so they can enjoy the game, but it will be a shame when it is gone, and all those people will be ranting and raving big time in the other thread.

As in its not officially a race course, yes. It is the real streets converted to what it would be like as a street race. An actual racecourse designer was involved in that part of development.
Consider it the Melbourne Monaco but not actually raced on in real life.

I hate I EA but I had the exact same feeling flying around Mount Panorama. It's the hightlight of the game for me. Plus all the extra time I now have to fap...

  16. I seriously doubt they were doing much about RR3 two years ago, that was the time they were working on RR2. RR2 was a great game, and did not have the aspects that everyone hates so much in RR3.

I do believe they were planning on having inapps all this time, and probably had that in mind. So I will not dispute that. But the wait timers could have easily been thrown in there last moment, and it could have easily been added by another programming crew, since it is not essential to the racing game.

Anyway, this is all speculation on all of us, but I still have faith that Firemoneys has a good crew, and they will try to somehow rectify this whole situation before the US release. Otherwise it will be a disaster, and probably all hate by people like you will be more deserved.

wouldn't it be funny if Firemonkey purposely put that in there knowing someone would figure it out cause they hated the EA f2p crap and timers...Usually the devs make the game the publishers comes up if its F2P or what have you, I just say have an inapp purchase for 10.00 or whatever no timers no gold coins you now own the game play it have fun!

OMG. Just did a race and got $16,300 for winning. 2.2k fame points.

4 laps of Hockenheim. BUT, with everything serviced, it wiped clean my oil and my tires are dangerousy red. What gives. Anyway, this might be a good place to grind. RoadCar International, Suffaly WC Round 2.

I removed that bit. Hopes it keeps everyone happy and I'll be sure not to veer off onto that path again.
