I find the cost of Inapp purchase to be alot. I have spent 8-10 hours on game. I have earned about $700,000 and 200 gold coins in that period of time by just playing. But the real world equivalent of all these is about $50. I pity those who purchase the small packs, it is inconsequential. Plus I played a race with $23,000 payout so I can always grind there.
I noticed the shorter times as well. I think that maybe it's when the game launches, there is a little downloading line at the bottom, I wonder if it has anything to do with that. I have been playing offline a fair bit today with very long wait times (23hrs for my BMW Gt car), but when I connected this evening the time ate definitely shorter.
How have you earned that much? I've played for 2 days now and have only got $170 000 cash and 102 gold. I have bought a couple of upgrades for the Focus and 2 cars.

I have decided for myself - no upgrades! I will just keep on getting better and better cars. I have 8 cars now. And ALWAYS buy the best car in a championship! Upgrades cost so much and you can only use a car twice, and only once is it the best car in a championship. Unless you got lots of time, you're fighting a losing battle by upgrading. The MP412C has got I think almost 30 upgrades, and the cheapest starts at $22,000. You'll always lose the battle for upgrades. I just wanna play. Try as many new cars before I get bored of the 8 circuits. Plus I consider myself good so I can get an advantage by driving perfect races. And yeah, focus on 3-4 championships at a time. Don't bother 100% them. 70% is good enough then move on. I'm level 31 now. And oh yeah, I just realized. When I hit level 30 I got 5 gold coins and level 31 brought me 3! Sneaky EA. I thought this will increase as you become better, not decrease!!! Update: Pregress to the end of a championship as quickly as you can. The prize money at the end is ridiculous!! And also try the faster championships. Much bigger payout. Dont waste time on the slow championships and the early events of a championship.
when it comes to point 2 and 3 that can be blurred i use facebook and my game Centre but it using my Facebook name, something thats struck me and not been able to work why this happens sometimes i go up against my friends and they zoom off then retry the race and im able to pass them.....
There are 1000 levels so if dont spend any of the gold you get from leveling it take you 133 levels to get the car if i did my maths right and based on the reward we get per level.
Repairs such as windshield etc (not service) are also reduced to 15-20 seconds now- literally by the time you've gone back to the menu to pick your next race they'll be done
Well I am 31 levels in and have gotten about 200 gold coins. Probably by Level 80 you can get 400 gold coins. But I'll just spend mine on the ones that require lesser golds.
The power of toucharcade at work. Had every single major iOS review site (referring to PG, TA, 148, Touchgen and also IGN, Polygon and CNET) spoke up against this model, I bet the timer would have totally gone by now. I only saw one site going all out, and this forums and the ones at firement, so the potential is there. We just need a louder voice.
I wonder what else. Price of IAPs? Price of cars? Cost of upgrades? If anyone know please share with all of us.
Ok, found the 5th thread. You title is off. Why? Cause this game is made the be freemium from the "ground up". Its mean that most of what you list can be co-related to freemium. The Ai. The elimination. The no quali. The handling. Everything comes back to freemium model in this gam.
Well I can't remember what it was before, but I have R$50k for £1.49, R$140k for £2.99 and so on. 10 gold for £1.49, 30 for £2.99 etc The first booster pack looks to be the same content at £1.49. Are these any different? I only looked at these once before but didn't pay too much attention.
