Same here. Don't know what to spend the last 4 bucks on, and then you buy something and then a new awesome game comes out. A whole process...
The Dicework crew is working on a new launch trailer - hopefully will be actually ready in time for launch!
Just wondering, is that $4.99 a launch sale, or not, and if not will there be any other sales, because I'd be gutted if within a month it goes down in price.
I can't say anything else other than this game is TRULY epic. This coming from an RPG "hater" so to speak
Been following this thread/game for awhile - I AM STOKED !!!!!! Can't wait for approval ... insta-buy for SURE. Grats to the devs for a totally different game with the core elements that will make any RPG fan sweat the Hot Pockets/Del Taco/Rock Star right out of thier body
Can either you developers or beta testers convince me to buy this game? I was going to but realised $4.99 could get me PES, Rolando 2 etc... A confirmation of no future sales/this being a launch sale would certainly make me buy, otherwise is the gameplay good enough to be bought over Real Racing etc?
I would wait til you read the reviews in the various sites for the game, before thinking about buying. We aren't planning on doing any sales any time soon.
About 8-9 hours for one playthrough, though you'll need to play it three times if you want to see absolutely all the content (well, might miss some items still). If all goes well, you can expect a couple of hours more in free updates.
Also, there is the option to mix skills from different character paths, which I think really adds to the replay-ability of Rimelands.
I can't really put my finger on (lol) what in particular makes me extremely excited to play this game-- the incredible atmosphere, or maybe the unique additions to the turn-based combat system. All I know is this is on the top of my list of anticipated games. Also, I think it's awesome that the developers are contributing to thread, and, as a result, building the anticipation even more.
