I'm with you on that 1, spent far too much on apps this month, but we'll see. If the reviews are good, i'll probably cave. It does look really good though!
nice i'll have a few brutal days at work after it comes out that will give me time for the reviews to roll in i'm sure it'll kick ass, though
They submit it early, so Apple tells them it's been accepted, then they set the release date And here's the ad from PocketGamer, I think this is legit, I mean I've never seen that exact graphic from ngmoco before, and the font/design/and structure of the art is exactly the same. Only makes sense they sent out the ad themselves to generate even more hype. Makes sense too, Dr. Awesome on 12/4, Dropship 12/11, and Rolando 12/18, all a week apart
At the bottom, it says: "Rolando Looks Awesome" - Brian Leahy, G4 (standing for grade 4) (haha i'm just kidding)
Rolando, like so many other games it seems, could benefit from user made levels on a server, similar to Cube Runner. Dropship would be even better if ngmoco made a Mac/PC level creator, save as .txt files, and update Dropship to interpret the files. Please, take a tip out of Andy Qua's playbook, and make your apps have this immense level of replayability.
Similar. Not quite that, though. I mean they give you instructions to create a level, and you make it. For example in Cube Runner, you can simply create a text file, and use that, but they also give basic premade segments, which wouldn't be needed in Rolando. i.e. for a simple level. the x's indicate a surface. Very simple, but just to demonstrate the idea. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx x xxxxxxxxxx xx xxxxxx
the poster is fake. did u see the comment on the bottom? plus ngmoco would not tell. anyway it's coming out monday. and an earlier video even said it i believe.
It's an advertisement at the right side of the Pocketgamer page, so if it's fake then someone would have to have paid money for this joke.
Your statement makes no sense. What is fake about the poster, and why would PocketGamer, a clearly legitimate and well standing website, have any reason to make false claims? The comment on the bottom is from someone who works at G4, a television channel which reviews games (used to be TechTV), who probably lives in California and went to the demo or saw the game in action somehow. And there is absolutely no evidence of it being released Monday, the only date posted before was the 12th
Maybe ask again? My tweets are private and ngmoco doesn't follow me, so they wouldn't see it if I asked them. Maybe they just forgot to answer you.
