Hi...I don't mean to cause a stir but I did't like dizzybee at all and some people were saying that Rolando is like "dizzybee on steroids" or that it's like dizzybee in some ways....now I'm thinking that I don't want to spend $10.00 for a game that's similar to a game that I already KNOW I don't like.....SOoooo......IS Rolando like dizzybee? Will I still like Rolando if I didn't like dizzybee? thanks!
it's not really like dizzy bee. Dizzy Bee was a bit more frustrating as the only control you had was tilt. This is a more platformer-type game. Tilt is just to move forward/back. I'll post a video soon. arn
I actually had the same exact question. Thanks for the reply, arn, and I look forward to seeing your gameplay video!
lol thanks alot i dun really enjoy dizzy bee not saying it sucks its alright so if this game is like dbee then i dont really wanna buy for 10 lol
SOME of the graphics are reminiscent of dizzy bee. That is all. It's a totally different game. Rolando seems influenced by a number of games but has it's own character and is uniquely special.
Rolando is way more complex that Dizzy Bee. Dizzy Bee is just about getting several things to a goal on a single screen level by controlling gravity. Rolando seems to be less about gravity and more about complex physics puzzles and light strategy elements.
/agree Which is why I was so interested in it from the start. I absolutely love Loco Roco and Patapon.
The same here... Loco Roco was the ONLY argument for a PSP so far. And after playing Rolando finishing 3/4 of the game I'm happy to say it's far more deep and complex.
LOCO ROCO 2 gets more interesting! (have it in the US with my jailbreak psp) i dont think rolando can match that. although rolando is great as well. it's just hard to separate the two at the beginning since the worlds and characters from the two are very similar. i just wished those little holes in rolando are like the secret cul de sacs in LOCO ROCO which makes LR more exciting
This is a very common question. After all the point of the game (to get as many rolandos to the end of the level) is basically the same as dizzy bee.
to answer the question. BONUS LEVELS work exactly like DIZZY BEE where you can rotate the device 360. although you can hold the device parallel to the floor unlike dizzy bee. dizzy bee is more like TAG's rock n roll.
