Yaaa... cause NFS is going to be great and there aren't any racing games in the app store . I think I'd rather pay $10 to get something innovative and different then pay $10 for something that I basically already own.
I'll pay for both... I can't resist. I need limits! Slide To Play has an interesting article about NFS quality and Rolando is something new, unique, an iPhone planned game.
I'm prepared for NFS & Rolando to be massive iphone gaming disappointments, but still... If i only have $10 and i need to decide, i'll get NFS over Rolando. Or maybe wait it out and get both for $10.
I can't see Rolando being less the $9.99 for a while... Anyway, I am so psyched for this game! New game image: Do you guys think it will be released at midnight Wednesday night? Dr. Awesome was scheduled for 12/4 release and it appeared right at midnight EST, while Dropship was just posted as being released "tomorrow", it came somewhat later. Based on this, I think it will be released right at midnight EST, once it is "officially" the 18th. Thoughts?
$9.99?! Really?! Not being tight, but isn't that quite a bit? I mean I know a lot of work has been put into it, But that's still rather pricey, especially around christmas with so many releases coming out quite cheap.
If it can match loco roco, without some of the extra content that was in loco roco, then i'd easily pay $10
Yea I'd don't really see how $9.99 is pricey, and the most recent games who even come close to content of Rolando are Brothers In Arms and Hero Of Sparta, both of which are $9.99. Rolando has also arguably been in development the longest of any game, so its polish will be second to none
I'll gladly pay the $9.99. I would gladly pay $20 for it! People pay a lot more for crappy DS and PSP games that are truly mediocre when compared to this title. Rolando is, IMO, a game that truly deserves the praise it's been getting and I doubt it will disapoint. As soon as it hits the App Store, I'm buying it! Furthermore, I think we, as gamers, need to support the companies that support us (and our addictions ).
Those 36 levels need to be extremely long if this has really taken 3 months or more to develop. I think this is a big turning point for where ngmoco is headed and they better not mess it up
Developement = Total Hours / Hours X Day Total Hours = ours required for the audio + ours required for the graphic + ours required for fisic + ours required for....... Hours X Day = Number Of Member Team X Hours of daily work So three months are not many if the development team was small even if the level are short
If the levels are short I won't even care bout hte audio or the graphics. I'll have to hear about it b4 I buy.
I would if I wasn't so tight on gaming cash Damn the economy! But, seriously, I think these are the games/companies we should seriously support because they're the ones that are going to be leading the iPhone gaming market. Long live indie devs but me thinks we need some big, quality titles on this platform and ngmoco seems like the company that's going to be delivering those games.
In Apple's top headlines too...this game is going to be huge. So you guys think it will come out Wednesday night? It better
Well, you wouldn't say.... What do you think Wednesday night at midnight is..oh that's right, the 18th. You are so annoying man...
