Finding that Shultan 4th floor is not dropping the items. I need the Elite Greaves to complete a set and was hoping i would find it there but no luck yet. i'll keep trying on different levels of shultan. Any hints on killing the shultan lord?
How long have you been there? It took me a long time to collect set pieces in any area, sometimes I would get 2 in a row, sometimes I wouldn't get any in an hour. Have you gotten any other set drops there? If so, are they one of the 3 I listed? I'm pretty sure I got multiple greaves on the 4th floor (might have confused Shultan floors but it should be right). For the shultan lord, just tone down the speed. That's really the only tip I can think of that doesn't involve what character you are.
lvl 29 need some help well i final got seitan and i am up to the part where you need to get the lion tatoo and i am up to the semi-finals in the tournament and i cant seem to bet that axe guy and anyone give me some help on that
My suggestion on the tournament: hit the guy a few time then run away taking right angles away from him while you heal up, then turn in for another round of attacks. Worked well for me with a couple tries as he waits to line up his big attack. Actually, this works for both guys.
I got sick of him and bought some resurrection stones. Coming back temporarily invincible really helps...
Actually I did get the shadow Armour on the 3rd floor but on the 4th floor i wasn't getting any set item drops, just the usual chrono greaves and the like. toning down the speed is a good tip thanks.
what i did was buy some of those instant heal hp potions (the round ones from the shop, not the skinny ones that you pick up). about 20 will do... if you have been working on the quests and your lance, then you should have the skill that does multiple jabs to the front. (sorry, i forgot the name).. quick slot it. so now, when fighting the guy, just continually press the quick slot and he'll be backed into the wall. keep an eye on your hp and mp. when either one gets close to about 25%, hit the backpack, which pauses the game so you can heal up, then continue with the stabbing. the defense buff skill can also be useful in slowing down hp loss. go to the place east of seitan, hit defense and i think the skill lasts about 3 minutes, giving you plenty of time to start the tournament quest and beat it. hard to understand? haha.. but i found this to be the quickest way to beat them. the 360 degree lance skill is also useful for defending the east seitan tower quest and the dream quest... in the seitan one, the knights dont actually start attacking you until you attack them, so just wait by the tower until there is a good number of knights there and start swinging... in all other methods i tried, i just kept running out of time. does anyone know how the elements effect fighting? i guess it's supposed to provide defense, but i'm not sure how significant it is. also, is it just me, or do guns lose a lot of their performance in underwater dungeons? it goes from hitting 1k+ to 100-200... but then, the fact that it's a fire element might have something to do with it...
For any of the defend quests like the tower and Kanto, I found that the land wave skill for lancers was pretty useful. It hits around 6 targets and has chance of stunning. I actually used that skill the most throughout the game, especially with the two tournament guys. My lancer's at lv49 and he's hitting 1.2k per target. I wasn't able to find the last skill for lancers though, if anyone knows where to find that
hey guys, i am a level 9 lance. so far i put all my stat points into str. I have the jabbing skill at level 1 and I raised the 360 spinning skill to level 5. Do you guys think I should keep it at level 5 or keep putting more skill points in it? What should I do?
wow, thanks to the advice on the clam quest, I didn't spend any time looking for the 4th box. I have a stupid question and apparently no one else had this problem but I am probably the only lvl 40+ character stuck on the Kasshu quest. I was only able to find ONE out of the three Kasshus in Dezadep dungeon in Sakoom desert. Does anyone remember or might know what I did wrong? I tried going in day and night and I could only find one...
I have a lv49 melee char with lv7 knight and lv9 lancer. Personally, I maxed out land wave because it's good damage, multi-target, and stunning (as in stun effect ). The 360 degree attack is worth putting points in too. The first skill and the skill with three flaming slashes are useless. I'm missing the 4th and 6th skill though... Leave that skill at lv5, unless you already leveled land wave and the 4th/6th skill that I don't know about.
sorry I figured it out... of course they're in 2nd and 3rd level dungeon, it would only make sense to put lvl 55 and lvl 60 monsters where your lvl 30 quest is.
I have no idea what the other skills are, my first skill is 1(jabbing), second (360 move)is 5. Do you happen to remember what city you unlocked the 3rd skill at for lancer?
I have a question.. where the heck is Dezadep dugeon in Sakoom? I;ve look west, north, east of the desert and can't seem to find the entrance!
Umm is it a good idea to use all weapons, or only one or few of them? I'm not sure how hard it is to grind the weapon levels at this moment since I'm only level 14. I know that some RPGs require you to grind all weapon levels, while some only have time for one weapon. Currently I'm using both Sword and Two-Handed, is that a good choice?
dex is not def To most people this may seem very obvious but dex does not affect your defense at all. What affects your defense is mostly vitality and a little bit of strength. I'm just saying that because it confused me and my friend when we started playing. Here is a question for more experienced players: Would lvl (either 57 or 59 i cant remember) fully refined and fortified armor, be better then one of the lvl 55 armor sets? I think that the refined and fortified armor would be better, but i have no proof to back it up, yet. To answer Aurora, I think its best to use 2-3 different combat styles, as they all have their own strengths. One that will be your main and 1-2 others for backup. Mage is the best style imo.
I think that might be true only for non-mages. The bonuses on the elite set for sword/lance is kind of worthless but you would still need yellow versions of everything for it to be comparable to the set. However, mages absolutely need the +1 skill level from the maid set over any slight increase in defense from the lvl.59 gear. I also don't really agree on the multiply combat styles. I've used mage for the entire game and have never had a moment where it was preferable for me to use another weapon type.
it's the sand trap on the bottom left of central sakoom desert... refer to your map... the little blue dot... i've been playing as a knight and i didnt get a full lvl 55 set until level 60... after trying on the soul set, i found that my mishmash of lvl 55-59 refined and fortified armor is much better than any armor set. has anyone completed the game? i'm at the last island and i can't beat the final boss (is he even the final boss?)
