I beat the game as a lvl 59 pure Wizard using the Soul set (which I gathered--not purchased). I harvested extra pieces of this set using tokhoi's list a few forum pages back. Grinding in dungeons at night seems to yield a higher percentage chance of these items dropping (and more exp). I eventually had multiple duplicates, so I was able to refine and socket most pieces in the set. I defeated the final battles like this: 1) cast the "Skill" buff on yourself 2) cast slow until it takes 3) run so you are in their diagonal (not directly above/below/left/right) 4) spam meteor 5) use potions as necessary 6) cast slow again and repeat Using this tactic, the battle wasn't too difficult and I was victorious on my first attempt. I probably could have beat the game at level 55. The key to victory for me was the slow spell. Even if you're not a wizard, use the skill buff and then use the slow spell. When slow wears off, run away until you can get slow on him again. I think this makes a BIG difference.
Dang, that is a lot of damage. My level 57 staff was doing 319 at level 8. I was using the lvl 57 staff only because I thought I would beat the game before I hit level 59. I ended up grinding some more anyway, but in hindsight, I definitely could have won the game earlier (as a wizard anyway, but perhaps not as other classes).
Nice guide NDawg. A quick tip for boss fighting, set the game speed to the slowest if you have fat fingers like me. Works for all classes i guess. For knight, buff up with def before talking to the boss, spam the 5th skill when possible, just make sure you don't do it when the boss is against the wall.
World Map I briefly started a second playthrough, but then decided I would move on to other games and probably not return to this great game (until they release SEED 2 anyway). I was planning on making a detailed full screen map that showed all locations, dungeons, and travel paths, but now that I'm not playing I will probably never get around to it. So, here's the full map that I put together in-case anyone else would like to complete this work:
does anyone know what quest I have to complete in order to get the 6th skill for mage? I've read that the guy who gives the skill is in a port (forgot the name), but when I go to the port the guy doesn't offer me any job
Yeah, that post contains the full details of the quest. If Bertani doesn't have a quest to offer you, you have to go further in the main plot line first. Just keep trucking along =)
Best Level-ups? Any particular areas/dungeons for the best level ups? I'm at a Level 53 Knight and leveling up in the Bako Plains (with some level 51 monsters)... Any place better? It's fairly easy here, I can sit and beat people up for awhile without dying. I was considering going to the Shultan Dungeons (maybe level 4 to search for weapons/armor) but I know I'll die a lot...
I just found it. Behind a plant in the lower right corner you can just make out the top left of the chest. Such a pain, I've been looking for that chest off and on for a week.
Kasshu Quest Where are all the chests for the Kasshu Quest in the desert dungeon? I can't find them, and getting rather annoyed.
Take note that in some dungeons if there isn't a wall on the side it could be the entrance to the next level. At times it gets hard to tell and you just have to move up against all the sides to tell. Also the same with chests hidden behind plants. after awhile you'll get a feel for it. like if all the chests for that quest are on the same level and you've found all but one then it's likely that it's hidden behind a plant that is conveniently at the end of a path that looks like it has nothing but looks like it should.
Hi I'm need some help please Now in Bandera town I'm trying to complete the Kalzak of Sita main quest I can't find Leedo to get boat to Sita Plaese tell me where is Leedo ? Thank you very much sorry for my english
Quest assistance. Currently am on the Johnny's Info(3) quest, and am searching Asana dungeon for the chest containing the info. I have circled the top half of the dungeon and have not been able to find out how to get to the chest. Any ideas as to why this could be? Lvl 35 Jack-of-all-trades. I have found the route, once you enter the dungeon, head south and loop back east. You'll appear at the North side of the dungeon, right beside the chest.
