Unfortunately I've been swamped this week so I've only had a few chances to play Shooting Stars, but from what I've played, it's fantastic! The artwork is gorgeous, the colors, sounds, humor -- all top notch. The game almost reminds me of an entirely new age space invaders! I can't wait to sit down and just play for an hour or so and really get more into it. Epic game -- do not wait to purchase this one next week!

Beta testing has been freaking fantastic!! This game is so fun. So creative too! Characters shooting at you instead of ships! WOW, Anyways, fantastic shooter. Crazy characters. You'll definitely be smiling while you play!
Good guy developer. I would love early access to this on the basis that I could gift it to a loved one on release.

I'll agree with this.... I've played enough at this point to think that I've seen everything there is to see and then all of a sudden, I get a new drop/power-up and a new "boss" There is so much content here and hard to stop playing (even with a couple of good releases this week).

Bloody hell. I managed to snag one earlier on in the day (quite a while after they were posted, surprisingly) and immediately posted that I did, but after checking out your post and inspecting my iPhone, it looks like the TA app never sent the post through. I'll admit that I didn't manage to download the last couple of beta versions (my work got in the way...same shit, different day), but the evolution of the game (especially in difficulty) is quite shocking really. I think it's absolutely perfect right now. While the beta was insanely difficult right off the bat (to the point where you would be on the verge of reaching the first boss, and then you'd find yourself dead x10), the first few levels now won't give you trouble, but the bosses are always a challenge. Now, I'm not saying that you're to expect a really slow start with a sudden difficulty spike, but the game is so much more balanced than it was before. Of course there's no need to talk about the graphics and charm of the game, but between Glorkian Warrior and Shooting Stars, there's no need to look elsewhere when it comes to wild and whacky shumps. Great stuff! Oh, and as implied above, to say thank you to the devs, I'll be gifting a couple of copies to those deemed worthy between my friends and family.
Hello. I.m with metal casket. I snagged this one earlier also. NJKFKYK3AJK3 (thank you!) But for me, it was around 2:40 am in the morning I was sitting up in my bed, redeemed the code, then woke up this morning with my iPad in my lap! LOL!! Sorry!! I really don't know what to add to metalcaskets post regarding the game. I also beta tested. The post is quite accurate. Well, I can add a couple things... Here's my review/feedback: For a shmup Shooting Stars is one of the most creative I've ever played. For those that get tired of the same old Galaxy genre shooters, this one's for you! Seriously! Characters instead of ships? Way cool! The graphics are definitely a charming retro that takes you back to another time, even if you've never been there! LOL Yes, it can get difficult, but that's part of the appeal. For a different take on an old style, it's an original. Easy and smooth controls. Just use your finger to move the shooter back and forth and around the screen wherever you need to go. Shooting Stars is a retro style game with an arcade feel that can be played on your device instead of waiting your turn in a line with change in your pocket at an arcade. Convenience at it's finest. (Smile) Needless to say, it's a fun shmup that'll feed your need for a challenge and touch your funny bone.
