This is true, but mostly because American money isn't worth of Enviro-Bear. You'd need to get some solid gold coins minted.
How can you plebians encourage an app with terrible graphics that are neither stylized or endearing? I understand it's meant to be kitschy and silly, but it comes off inauthentic and pandering. Why are we as a communty supporting this? This app is filth. Its something terrible, shameful, awful.
I wish I could harness the power of Enviro-Bear to bring Hodapp over to the Redneck side as well. He appears to have mystical powers for making one rise in the app store. Uh, we have bears too! Except, well, they kind of get run over. But you can PRETEND that they are hibernating. With their tummies on the outside. And some of their bones. And a little blood. Aw, forget it.
Minigore is only going to become worthy when Enviro-Bear makes his appearence in the game...until then, it's a beta.
I think a lot of people were confused by all the screenies that came out. It seemed from a few of the comments that some may have thought Enviro-Bear would be in this initial Minigore. But I agree that Minigore isn't anything to toot about right now.
Yeah, I knew what I was getting in the initial release. Honestly, if it weren't for the promised updates, this wouldn't be on my device. Don't get me wrong, I really like the art design, and I think it's great that the devs are so active here, but I'm definitely waiting for the content before I drink the Kool Aid. I did find it interesting in that Pocket Gamer article how they mentioned that they rushed it out specifically because of this forum...
I don't think it's a good trend especially lately with releasing half-finished games. While I understand that devs have limited resources, it really doesn't help long-term credibility. Minigore has managed to buck the trend in sales, but still it needs to deliver on those updates. Hell hath no fury like women scorned and ticked off TA members
I thought Minigore was just 'meh' until I discovered the expert mode toggle. Now it's kind of replaced Doodle Jump as my plan for a minute or two game of choice. I like it better than iDracula, sure it lacks perks and other stuff but I think the art style and sound design add so much character to the game that it's much more fun to play in spurts of a few minutes. Neither hold my attention very long though, but for a buck, who cares.
I don't see how John Gore is humorous, he just yells stuff out. I haven't laughed once, not even a smile =/ EDIT: Congrats on putting Aaron in time out Hodapp
Not laugh out loud funny, but humorous, as people have described it. And Gryphon, the enviro bear is calling for you.
I played this until year 5, then it just crashed. This is unbearable. If you happen to have 79 cents too much in yer pocket, and get any joy out of controlling a car driving bear, then yes, for gods sake go for it.
