I knew about this game even before Eli skipped it for some reason (time tells all mistakes dude) in his "Coming tonight...", even before the thread made by Echoseven... I saw it somehow and had the feeling I always had with things I will love... at the beginning, I thought it was too easy, but it started growing on me, being ultra fun and update after update I loved it more and more and more until it has become my favorite iOS game. The trick is to play it from update to update... Halloween update came so I started playing Eagle Bluffs, now that we have this update Im playing Halloween, thats how I do it, dont want to ever finish this game, because if that happens it will go into a folder and thats it, as happened with other games and never touch them again. Something I even thinking about is reinstall it to play it again someday when that happens, for the third time (second was a bug)... If you like endless runners, check PlicPlic right now its free and its also veeeery good Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel For those still on the fence/not updrading, this is the best one yet
Haha yeah I'm the same.. I almost feel guilty about playing a game so much, because with don't want to finish..The first few days it went free I didn't pick it up. Then I got an alert saying I had no memory and it said to click to see the memory settings, which I never used to have on iOS 4x, so I clicked and saw that this stupid web feed app was taking up 2 gigs of space.. I deleted it and went on a game downloading spree..downloading heaps of games I wanted to try over the past few months but never had the memory to do so.. Ski safari was thankfully still free, As was pizza vs skeletons, fright night, etc but ski safari was the only one that grabbed me. Can't believe Eli didn't review it.. I bet alot of people didn't get it for that reason.. I scope out puzzle games myself, in the recents list, but I never look twice at endless runners unless they get high praise from review sites like TA.. Must have been some sort of psychic calling for you to check it out.. I have to admit, i would have been iffy about spending even $1 on an endless runner, other endless runners give the genre a bad name.. This one is excellent, I hope they expand it like rocks does to angry birds.. Keep it alive for years to come. It's bloody brilliant, I'd pay 99c a track. I finally unlocked Halloween track today. Absolutely love it.. It's as quirky as the Xmas track! I love thing and frankie, and the bat, and the skull motorbike. I haven't put the game down in days.. (Lucky I've been on holidays, I would have gone mad trying to resist the urge to play this at work) I even played it at my work Christmas party..that's how good the game is, (or that's how much of a doofus I am, one of the two)! Good find nonetheless.. Must have been annoying knowing about this gem but not having others know about it. I hate having to convince people to get a game that's bloody awesome, it should be mandatory to just get it. Imagine making a game this awesome, making it 99c and yet people still ponder whether or not to buy it, it'd be frustrating. It's a real masterpiece. Lots of people on the leaderboards now.. More than 2 mil.. Hopefully they'll all by the coin doubler and give the devs some cash to keep developing.. Truly reckon alot of great indie devs get scared odd by lack of sales and don't develop for iOS again. It's sad. Apple should really pay to freelance some developers.. And apple shouldn't take any percentage of the sales.. Apps are what makes apple desirable, it pisses me off that they take almost half of the devs hard earned 99c!
