Well, the game took about two months to develop (part-time at first then full-time for the last couple weeks), so you could say I've got a little practice Hours and hours of playtime, anyway... the secret is to let them shoot and then drag around and smash them before they shoot again! Also... smash the pilots whenever they fly out, too. They give you extra points and don't count toward your ship-kill total, which is ultimately what drives the game to harder difficulty levels. And go fast - the difficulty gradually creeps up even if you don't do anything

That's the same playing style I used, but I didn't even see the video. The ship that did me in was one of the ships that double shoots, but it delayed the second shot... Very sneaky ship... EDIT: And tweeted about it. Mostly to spread the word rather than win the $20 Gift card, but that would be nice too. (though my winning the $10 might not allow me or something) Smasheroids is very fun though. I've been playing on iPad which is probably the easiest to get high scores on because you have more precise control. EDIT EDIT: Also, I've tried some other modes (one of which is like GeoSpark but with asteroids) and they seem fun also. Antimatter reminds me of Osmos also. Anyone begging for a code *cough cough Heineken_guy*, don't hesitate to buy it.
All the promocodes are gone. Wouldn't you have a few extra promocodes available ? I'd love to try this game (promise I'll post a review).
