Give it a shot but mist music around me sucks bad. Garbage. I used to think it couldn't get much worse than Michael Bolton. But I was wrong. Watch any fake concert, and you Have a Beyonce type shaking their ass, and the musicians off in the corner hiding. Who cares who it is it sucks. Bring back Page, Jeff Beck

Hmmm.....my fumbling took less than 5 seconds to open the app (device is already on) and tap the big orange button.

Completely agree on popular music but that is so closed minded to think there is no new good music. You'll almost never find good music on free channel radio stations but I always hear snippets of great music in good movies and TV series. Often there are no vocals in those snippets which is when an app like sound hound is extremely useful. Check out NPR's all songs considered, pitchfork media or allmusic.com for a start. You can't expect the mainstream music industry to produce much of anything with creative integrity. That's how it's always been and always will be.

I just grabbed the free version (from the US AppStore) to compare. At a quick look, I'm Not seeing any difference between the two. Both have the same kinds of ads. Both look pretty identical. The most notable difference is one icon has an infinity symbol and the other does not. Ymmv I guess.
