Mostly because of the whole cheap thing. The bastards part was just for emphasis. I really don't have any intel on your parentage. However, if you had been raised properly, you would want to support the artists that produnce the games you actually like.
I love your games so much that I can't possibly spend mire than &0.99 on one...I mean, I need another mountain dew. Wait...could you make it free? I loves me some doritis with my dew.
What? What does my parentage have to do with anything? When I first saw this game, I didn't get it. But with the price drop I picked it up, I didn't get it at first cause I thought it might be lacking in content and not worth the price. I then realised that it's a pretty fun game and might actually be worth the original price after all. I would happily pay for more levels though.
Guys, we're happy for every copy of Stair Dismount sold. Every time someone buys one of our games, finds it enjoyable and hopefully remembers Secret Exit the next time we release a game is a small victory by itself. The App Store is a challenging market, and international world-dominating game developer empires aren't built overnight
Frand, this is no BS, remember the first thread started for Stair Dismount; I was the first reply in that thread and I questioned why there were no global leaderboards and how it may affect overall replayability of the game? Well, it turns out that I must eat crow. I haven't been able to try out any of the updates or other new games I got over the past few days because this game has consumed my attention span in an obsessive-compulsive manner I sincerely apologise if you may have thought I was questioning your integrity in game design, your team has an over-abundance of talent. I think I've discovered the "Secret Exit"

Oh oh! You guys did SPiN? ..it all falls into place. That was an immaculately presented piece of work. Well done. As for sales .. Yeah, I can understand the position you're in. Apple that chosen to put you on the front page, so now's the time to try to maximise sales. (There's nothing keeps sales going on an iPhone App like being on the Top 100 lists.) Couldn't be predicted, but now it's happened you've got to do what you can to take advantage of the situation. I bought it at full price .. It was worth it. No regrets there. And heck, it's a couple of dollars difference we're talking about. Nothing to get bent out of shape about.
I don't regret buying it at full price either, but I'm sure someone told us there wouldn't be a price drop in the near future.

Frand, I'm super worried by the OpenFeint word. Will you also make the game's icon ugly? Is that a requirement from OpenFeint? I just hate how all games with Open Feint have ugly logo, it's like a 'free' tag in a way. I'm paying for a full game and don't want any mess in my icon, you hear that Open Feint!?
We are using the logo in the icon, but not the default one. It's not a requirement to use it, but it does tell the customers that an online component is present in the game. If you want to keep the old icon, then I believe downloading the update on your computer and syncing it to your device will update the application but the icon will remain unchanged.
Really? I sure hope so as I'm sick of that icon, but knowing SecretExit's taste, I sure hope the new icon doesn't look too bad. Hope it's more crafted than slapping it over the current icon. At the very least, I hope your trick works. May I know when you submitted the update? *can't wait
It's funny, because I actually like the emblems for Plus+ and OF being on the icons. It drives me crazy when they're not on there. I wish they'd force everyone to use it, or just not have it in the icon at all. Especially OpenFeint, where the emblem can be in any corner. That drives me nuts too. At least the Plus+ is in the right hand corner every time. But at the same time I can totally see how someone wouldn't like the icon being cluttered up with those social networking emblems. Especially if you don't use those features. In a perfect world, you would be able to have a choice of app icons kind of how you do with album art in iTunes. Besides having the OF emblem gone or whatever, just some different options for icons would be cool for people that want to change it or aren't pleased with the default one. Ok, sorry for the icon rant! Oh, and don_k:
I tried to slap it there gently and with dignity. I'm not a big fan of embedding smaller icons in icons myself, feels a bit same as putting in a big yellow band that shouts "PANIC DISCOUNT!". Then again, we want people to know the game has leaderboards and as BD pointed out, knowing what social network a product has is important for some people.
I just wish OpenFeint themselves could be more thoughtful when designing the icon. Should've been simpler and more flexible so that it could easily fit in with any graphical style of the game yet still recognizable. I know it can be done.
I agree with these points. If only there's a toggle option to show / hide the emblem, it would be the perfect solution. It can be on by default, no problem with that, but I'll surely turn it off Hmar9333: no, my iPhone is virgin and it will stay that way
