click on it twice to take you to the level select, thrice to hit the face select screen. we're sorry, we should've indicated that some way
After trying five times, the update finally took. I already loved this game but it is even better now. I love the new stages and online leaderboards.
Just click the top left back-arrow twice to go quickly back to scenario selection. It's one of those things I guess we should've communicated better (or at all...)
well at least our customer service is immaculate, two replies plus two apologies in less than 15 minutes and it's 1:25 AM in here
Mindfield, just grin and bear it Implode did this to me a couple days ago....for 12 hrs. Off and on I'd try updating and finally it took. On the flip side I am not around wifi atm, but when I get there in a bit, I'll be steamed if it won't update for me This is THE update I've been anticipating.
Seems Apple's update servers aren't quite in sync. For some the update download is working, the rest of us will unfortunately need to exercise patience.
Can't update either (checked both via iTunes and iPhone). It should download 10.x MB, but only loads 6.x MB. Damn, I so badly wanna know how good my scores really are...
Ah, cool. I was going to suggest the option to go straight to the level select screen too. Wow, nice. The double-tap option rules. ..maybe the corner button needs a tooltip when in the pause/options menu, so people know they can press it again. I'd like to suggest an option to turn off all tooltips too. I like all the wee things that pop up to tell you what you can to (pinch, swipe, etc) ..but I can see myself becoming irritated with them over time. (It kinda confilicts with the simple, clean design ..so it would be nice to have a way to restore to the original tranquil mode.) Could I suggest listing the current high-score (and maybe online highscore) when the new score is tallied up? Unless I'm mistaken, I seem to have to skip out to the level-select screen to check the high score I'm chasing ..and I have a crap memory, so I've forgotten it two dismounts later. Love that panoramic camera too. Looks gorgeous. On the failing updates again: Yeah, I just keep trying and eventually they take. <shrugs> Not helpful if you want the update right *now*, but yeah.. it seems to work eventually.
Grinning and bearing it is for prison wives. I want my update, dammit! *sigh* Guess I'll just have to keep trying. It'd better take before I go to bed though, that's all I gotta say. Apple don't wanna make a brother take a trip to 1 Infinite Loop to slap a bitch.
Whoop whoop! The update worked for me (unlike countless others the past few weeks). Syncing now, I've been waiting for this one! Yeah the update bugs are really annoying, but I haven't had one not eventually work, usually takes anywhere from 6 to 24 hours. Really annoying, especially when you want to play NAOW! Thanks for the great update Secret Exit, really looking forward to what's upcoming as well. Are you still planning on adding achievements? I love when games have achievements, it gives you something to work towards when you're not just playing a game for fun. And there's definitely the possibility of some classic achievements in a game like this. Kudos to you good dev!
Most app updates (maybe 60%) have been failing this way over the last few weeks, at least for me. Somethings badly messed up with the App Store, and has been for some time. If I keep re-trying, an update will finally work, but it can take MANY retries in my experience. Without launching the app, the OpenFeint badge on the icon should be a sign of a successful download, Im thinking. (But I too have not been able to get this yet.)
Ha! Wish I had that patience 10 minutes ago when I tried deleting then reinstalling Ba-bye my astronomical high scores.
Well, I got the update to take after about five tries or so. I didn't see any way to upload older scores. So, you may have to beat a previous score for it to submit? I noticed on the three new levels, it submitted my scores right away.
I updated both this and Modern Combat thru iTunes. They both downloaded successfully the first try. That hasn't been the case with lot's of my previous updates, but with these ones there wasn't any problem.
Haha, you crazy social networking icon haters! Actually, I understand all the different opinions about that topic. I personally don't mind 'em, but at the very least wish they were consistent in look and placement on all the different icons. But even to the people that hate those things, the one on Stair Dismount is quite unobtrusive:
