Its not bad, but I can't seem to go pass the campaign's mission 2. I keep crashing to the desktop. Using an iPad 2. blacklabgames Member Apr 4, 2011 10 0 0 #5 blacklabgames, Nov 25, 2011 @Kildar - That's no good! Drop an email to support [ at]blacklabgames[dawt]com.au and we'll see if can get that sorted out. Looking forward to progressing to the end of the free portion of the campaign so I can give a more detailed impression on the game. blacklabgames Member Apr 4, 2011 10 0 0 #7 blacklabgames, Nov 25, 2011 Good to hear! Kildar Well-Known Member Nov 25, 2011 117 0 0 #8 Kildar, Nov 25, 2011 Are we going to be limited to only five (5) types of ships? Or do you guys plan to add some more ships? Also any chance to customize ships in the future? The timer on player moves doesn't allow much time for a relaxed review of the tactical movements by a player. You guys plan to add an option to remove the timer? blacklabgames Member Apr 4, 2011 10 0 0 #9 blacklabgames, Nov 25, 2011 If there is support for the game, then there will certainly be updates, and additional ships (and enemies) are the first things on the list to add. Customization is certainly possible, too. What would you like to see? Appearance, weapons ??? In skirmishes, there is already an option to adjust the timer (including turning it off). It's included in the campaign to maintain a snappy pace to the game, however I've had similar comments before, so we are looking into it. Marcus70 Well-Known Member Dec 7, 2010 950 0 0 #10 Marcus70, Nov 25, 2011 I also have problems with the timer due to the nature of how you move the units. I'm used to tapping a unit and then tapping the location to move to. Since in this game you have to hold and slide the unit around, most of the time I can't slide the unit to the correct square. And units are especially hard to move around when their are a bunch of units close together. I would like the option to turn off the timer for single player. I would not mode the time off as tapping is somewhat broken when too many ships are near each other blacklabgames Member Apr 4, 2011 10 0 0 #13 blacklabgames, Nov 25, 2011 Thanks for the feedback Marcus70 & FPE, there is a minor update in the works now, and we will definitely look into that. Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a new update to Star Hammer Tactics (1.0.1) available on App Store now (here). The main changes are: * There is a new campaign mode, called Classic Mode. Unlike the existing campaign mode (now called Arcade Mode), Classic Mode does not have time limits. * Combat cinematics have been upgraded, including zooming in on ships as they are destroyed * The touch controls have been refactored. It is now possible to tap and drag a ship to a new position in one action, instead of two. Selecting targets for missiles is now more intuitive. * The HUD relating to the selected ship has been re-arranged to make it clearer * Some of the menu screens have received a bit of a makeover * The app icon has been changed Enjoy!
