This could be great news if this is really true, surprised we havent heard any hype before this though.

As for working on the ipod 1 (i presume thats a joke !), ipod 4 i think you'll be struggling. I used to have an ipod 4th gen, great device but was struggling more and more with the latest 'bigger' games. I hope its universal and not ipad only.

Lets hope we either get a major surprise today or we start to hear some news (And i hope they re-release more Lucasarts games)

  7. This will definetly not get iPod 4 support. Even Asphalt 7 just lags so much it's unplayable (at least to me)

Finished KOTOR 1 for a number of times on PC and tried to finish KOTOR 2 but failed, I would say, for most of the time, choose a direction to walk to, encounter foes, click on the pause button, click on your team member and select the action / foe, that's it.

As long as it does not suffer from the problems of BG:EE, I think we may have one of the best port this year. Fingers crossed.

I think it already got approved. I hope it's not an iPad exclusive

If by down scaled you mean a shorter version of the game - I doubt it. If you mean worse graphics then I don't mind.

No kidding. In a world where iPhones and iPods run full ports of games like GTA Vice City, Max Payne and (hopefully) X-COM, it'd be a shame if a game with such a high profile as KOTOR was to be limited to a specific device.

These are great news if true (and I'm willing to accept that it is true. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the terrible iOS Borderlands game announced in this fashion?). Hopefully it'll spark a trend of more Star Wars ports to iOS!

Not sure why my original post in the Upcoming iPad Games got moved (again) and merged here when there has been no indication about this being an iPhone/iPod Touch game.

Edit: I guess it does make sense to keep the discussion in a single topic. Still though, I don't think this is in the right section. :/

I've be very surprised if anything other than the 2 latest version of iPad will get it ported, if it does get ported. I just can't see how a game like this can function like it should on an iPod or phone.

It does lag from time to time on battles, im guessing its because of poor optimization but its totally playable. Still love the game though, and im thinking it would be a great fit on the ipad!

Actually iPad 2 is just as good as an iPad 3, due to its lowered resolution. So I'd have to say iPad 4 Full effects 60 FPS retina. iPad 2/3 : 30 FPS lowered textures and graphics. Hopefully it'll support my iPhone 5. I love this game!

I would be ecstatic if it was but I highly highly doubt it. (I hope I'm wrong)

If it doesn't support iPhones it's due to screen size, not hardware. The iPhone 5 is pretty beefy, comes close to the iPad 3 in some benchmarks and with native resolutions mostly surpasses it.

Moreover, there's no doubt that it'll run on A5 devices such as the iPad 2; this is an old game. iPad 1 support is rather doubtful, though.
