Actually the "Big Bertha" 42 cm howitzer was used only in WWI and it was not very effective. It was replaced later by the Beta-M-Gerät 30.5 cm cannon in 1916 because the Big Bertha couldn't punch a hole in a bunker made of steel and concrete. The Beta-M-Gerät was more effective becuase it had a greater armour piercing ability. The Beta-M-Gerät was retired in after WWI. Also the Big Bertha was not tradtionally an anti-infantry weapon. It was made to destroy bunkers, which it failed at.

Yes that is true, my apologies for mixing the time periods up. Wasn't the ICBM first employed in WWII (I think the MKII was more successful), it may be an option against the artillery. Though it was mainly used to clear buildings or structures, or camps... (trying to save myself at the end there ;))

Hahaha no it's fine. Since this game is WWI the Big Bertha could be used, not saying it will but it's possible. And Im not really familiar with ICBM but I think the accronym is used for Intercontinental Ballistic Missle, usually used for nuclear weapons but i could be wrong. They fire, as the name suggests, between continents, around 3500 miles.

Oh no problem. Also that was the original source of the term ICBM, until the nuclear era that is. :)

I don't believe they had ICBMs in WWII. The closest thing they had was the A9/A10 IRBM that the Germans tested, but never deployed.

Oh yes, the V2 I believe was the closest to a modern ICBM...

The V2 was a short-range ballistic missile. The A9/A10 was a IRBM (Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile), and shared many features with ICBMs that the V2 didn't.

Interestingly, the Germans also had plans to develope a satelite payload (A11) and a space transporter (A12). However, the war ended before either weapon could be developed.

We are actively seeking to put in a mode where the players can somehow use the zombies in a competitive multiplayer style match.

Personally I think that you should add zeppelins instead of bazooka teams for Germany and you should also add Vikings

We are seeking to add Zeppelins to the Trenches universe! Have you seen our Trenches HD production work that includes the German Zeppelins and British Tigermoth Biplanes?

We are still working on adding new nations to the game, if that is what you are referring to.

We would love to see French, American, and Russian forces make an appearance in the Trenches universe. :)

Most of our team would like to see the Russian forces fighting for the Motherland, plus getting some cool accents in the game!
