As many as you see on the promotional screen! :D

Actually, we will be constantly adding new Zombie Hero units and allied units. As of right now, we have 3 finished with more to come. Keep a lookout here to see some of the heroes and to help us create more.

Would it be possible to also cunstruct various "upgrades" on/in the trenches, such as weapons/scouts/other building types? The scouts could possible add a fog of war style of gameplay? Also the weapons built by the engineers would require the engineers to operate them? Like a cannon (that would almost kill or impale anything in a line of fire?) with two engineers for ammo supply/aim and fire? Or a minigun in a building with one engineer. Also be able to build "lookout towers" to have a larger line of site; if a machinegun troop is placed on the tower than firing is a bit accurate but a further range, a sniper would have range and accuracy, and if another tower is close enough the troop can fire at the unit in/on the tower?

Sorry, i just started having a rush of ideas after I read your post and remembered wanting some other ideas myself. Let me know if you would like to hear more about what I said above or any other idea! Can't wait to see what the final version will look like!

(also if you need help testing pm me, have an exam on Monday and then am free to test apps!)

    Perv, why do you care?
I think they want the game to remain arcadey & not going into a full side scrolling RTS with 500 different buildings & 10,001 units.

Hey so here are my suggestions:
    1. Can you please a progress meter of some sort in the campaign so that you know how far you have gone and how much more you need to complete?
    2. Can you please make some unique zombies? Not just some typical small zombies that move fast and slow zombies that are strong.
    3. Make it an optional dlc to trenches!

This looks great! As a big fan of Trenches, I have high expectations for this and know you guys will deliver another entertaining game. Looking forward to the co-op a lot, multiplayer was my favorite part of Trenches. But one suggestion, you have to give us a ray gun unit :p

I haven't played trenches yet and zombie games are a dime a dozen, but, the art style looks interesting. I look forward to picking this one up.

I see what you mean, I was not trying to imply a full side scrolling RTS, rather to take one or two ideas. Something like on the Ipad with a trench going halfway across, it could be used as a tower or weapons platform instead. And a bonus would be applied to whichever unit is placed on it. Or something along the lines to make it more challenging... like adding another dimension to the game possible... that was what I was thinking in my previous post before I lost my self...

We absolutely understand what you mean. Have you seen the previews for Trenches HD? If not, I'll post a link for you. We now have a fractional battlefield that allows for what you are describing.

Yes I was able to look at the previews, I didn't realize it was in place on the ipad. However, I was just thinking how it could be implemented in the iphone/itouch version, since the bunker would be too small I was thinking it could be a platform for the units (height with every upgrade?). Or the engineers could dig the fractional holes? That's what I was thinking anyways.

Unfortunately, it would require a complete reworking of the game to allow for this kind of thing (fractional battlefield), but some of those other features aren't out of the question.

I'd prefer this as DLC to trenches, personally. Sure, it has some new aspects to it, but why not expand on the old game as well? It's basically the same game with new graphics and possibly some new gameplay elements. But that's my opinion.

Well looks at it from the developer's point of view,DLC doesn't sell well often so creating a whole different game is the best way to make the most profit.

The game will be too big to be simply DLC. Also, the basic code will be written for the battlefield as we will now have an interactive battlefield where independent events take place that can just how the game is played, such as swamp bogs that will consume your units or weather that can wipe out battalions.

Well then maybe add a Trenches theme to Stenches? Just simplify it out? Idk, just a suggestion.
