Oh, so you mean DLC to Trenches that improves the Zombie Horde mode? We thought about this, but we do not want to anger our fans and customers. How would you feel about paying $.99 for improved Zombie Horde mode?
Can you tell us a bit more on the weather? That sounds really fun? If it could be possible you'd be able to hide in the snow from oncoming attacks
When this game is released then I would love to review this. Send a request for spaztrigger in mobiletechreview.com so I can review this. Cause this is frigging awesome!!!!!!!
1. Thanks for the ? at the end of "That sounds really fun"! It made us lol. 2. Lightning will stab down, chain jump, and kill random units. In the cemetery, zombies will rise from their graves across the map. Perhaps meteors will strike on others maps. This is still something we are working out as we build the game and are looking for feedback from your audience.
I was wondering what weather effects will there be? I read lightening and possibly meteors, will there be rain/floods or heatwaves? Also the ray gun idea sounded interesting from another post (reminds me of COD...)...
This game sounds great! Would it be possible to have a multiplayer mode where one person plays as the zombies?
I hope you guys spend a lot of time fine tuning the balance of the game. That really was the only thing that threw me off from Trenches. Everything felt so unbalanced and 'cheap'. I felt like I was losing because of the enemies quick artillary fire time and ridiculous 'luck' rather than actual tactical blunders.
Mainly what I'm aiming/hoping for is one app Main reason for that is app space on my ipod. Sure, its a 32gb iPod Touch 3G, but, with at least 4 slod pages full of full folders, I still have a few gbs, but what about the future? Where will all my space have disappeared to? But to answer your question, I meant just adding Trenches (the original game and gameplay) as DLC to Stenches. It would be a game mode with all the Trenches stuff, but inside of Stenches. Idk how others feel about that, but I'd personally be willing to pay for Trenches "twice"
I don't know. For some crazy reason I decided to take it off my iPod. But I had to restore today, so when I was syncing my apps back I had forgotten why I deleted it. So I just put it back on there.
We are exploring 2 different methods: 1. Independent and separate queues for units AND artillery/support or 2. You have a limited number of slots and you must choose which forces to bring into the fight. Such as only having 6 - 7 slots and you can select between 10 units and 10 artillery/support pieces.
I think the second version sounds good. I have seen it implemented before in other apps. Also this way there won't be hundreds of units on the screen at once, and the rounds can be relatively short. Yet for skirmishes it would be nice to use the first system, where it would have all weapons available (after completing campaign???). Since I see skirmishes lasting much longer than a regular campaign. Also will the units/artillery/etc. be unlocked as we progress? (would add more oof an incentive to complete campaign mode... maybe?)...
I thought the whole idea of this was to expand on zombie horde? Adding a whole campaign would just be taking the original and adding new skins to it.
It is a bit of a misnomer. It would be called "Story Mode" rather than campaign since it will be different than the campaign layout of Trenches.
