Like send a character(probably engineer) to activate a mine & that then provides a safety net. Speaking of Engineers, will they build up walls at the edge of trenches & still do barbed wire on regular ground. I think Lord Gek's idea is also good, like a stranded captain that if you bring back gets you a powerup.
You got to be kidding me... Why not just make this a Paid DLC update to the original game as another mode. There is no point in making a whole new separate app...

This has been explained, it's to big to be DLC, & the average App Store consumer would feel ripped off having to pay to get an expanded Zombie Horde/New Campaign.
Wait so it's going to be a free app? If it's not going to be paid then why not just make it a free update then?
2 reasons. 1. Stenches is a stand-alone product set in the Trenches universe. You wouldn't add "Halo Wars" as DLC for Halo 3. Also, the system of playing all the game types in Stenches would be horribly confusing and virtually unplayable using the Trenches menu interface. 2. A problem with doing both methods for ANY developer is the limit of visibility. If 1,000 players buy it in DLC and 1,000 on the AppStore, then we don't get the 2,000 players on the AppStore version which increases rank, which is arguably one of the only ways to make money. (A sad fact of the business we are in. )

Any known release date yet? Oh and I think of you really did make a game like Drenches it would be better on the iPad, because of the screen size.
I'd definitely get that, perhaps you may have to post a bit about famous historical naval battles, starting with, erm, maybe the Battle of Trafalgar... In 'yer face Frogs!!!
