@Will090 thanks for that article link!!! Yeah, I still think Alichan76's idea for the name Zom Bound is more conducive than Resident EvilBound
I shudder to admit this, but one of the early concept variations we were momentarily considering was that every level would be a cute little furry animal that you'd wrap in duct tape. When the level was complete, you'd yank the entire tape off together with the fur. In any case, guest stars in Zen Bound (3GS) is not a bad idea - there is, after all, a pixeled invader in ZB already.
Gosh, that would scar a few children for life The dark recesses of Secret Exit's collective mind is dark indeed
maybe these invaders could also make a downloadable appearance in regular zen bound for a small fee of $1.99
Frand: Cute furry animals and duct tape sounds like a winner, you need to have at least one of those levels in the 3GS version! If it requires further explanation you could say the player is a cloth maker who collects wool with that peculiar method
TBH the thing i dont like about the Pocket God crossovers. Are that pocket God keeps adding those stupid mini games. To me it feels like Pocket God has kind of lost its focus. I actually liked it better when it was just the one island and they kept adding creative ways to interact with the Pygmies. Now the app just seems like an experiment
OMFG!!! THAT may be the GREATEST POST EVER!!!!! "Gore Bound!" @Timo what's up with the lizard, dude?? Don't sell out, it'll make you soft. Unless Hardgore is gonna be the ultimate in crossovers, like Kindom Hearts! @Skyr795 yeah, I'm concerned that this is almost Communism, like all games will eventually meld into one-size-fits-all be-everything-to-every-player UBER GAME (jk)
Afterthought @Frand, FWIW, I'd love to see a spooky/zombie like wrap @Timo, Just wanted to saw, no matter what the nay sayers are doin on Minigore thread, they're just a bunch of bitches. You're work is incredible. Lizards wielding guns just don't make sense in the snow is all, and I bet you're sleepless over it sometimes, but it's seems to be a biz decision, and only you can make that decision, tho playing it is my decision. In the meanwhile, keep up the great work!!! You're QA is excellent!
This isn't a character cross over but a company crossover. How did Firemint, iD Software, and EA all work on a game together. I mean wolfenstein RPG is a really good game and I liked it a lot, but how did all three of those companies work on this game together. I mean they all work against each other in their other apps, but why come together for just one. It doesn't really make any sense at all. Also, do they know how good wolf RPG was. Really, if they came together on all their games, then the whole app store would be filled with masterpieces. I think they are missing the point really.
Publishers, IP holders and game developers do projects all the time, and they are not competitors. There is nothing wrong or strange about that, it's business as usual.
Gee, I never thought of it that way. That was very insightful and useful. I guess it's like me not liking HipHop: I can just not turn it on the radio. It's not like I'm gonna hear it in movies, on the street, in advertisement, or anywhere else, huh? I can just escape it all together. It's completely in MY control. Thanks!!
