it is the general package of programs that ship with Mac computers(ie: iMovie, Garageband, iWeb, iTunes etc.). I've heard/used those sound effects waaaay too many times LOL
yeah, I understand, but I feel like the gorgeous graphics are wasted on the mediocre sound effects- I'm sure you could find different sound effects elsewhere, or for very cheap...
Eh, it's a turn based card game. But no, it's not like Yugi-Oh. Card games are unique, so it's not a good thing to compare to other styles. You have a stronghold against an enemy stronghold, and each turn you gain resources from your buildings. Then you play cards using resources that have various effects as you try to destroy your opponent's stronghold and build up your own stronghold to 60.
Looks like 148apps.com has reviewed the game. They are a bit harsher than I would have been, giving it 3 stars, but overall the review was pretty positive. I agree that with updates this would be a sterling game. Perhaps the momentum is building? http://www.148apps.com/reviews/strongholds/
So I bought the game. App store says its version 1.5 ... The game says its 1.0 How can I force an update? It isnt showing on my app store update list.
It still says 1.0 for me It must be that it was JUST approved and the actual file needs to propagate to all the servers. Which means it will be available soon
hmm, I don't know why it would be deleted. The description for the app says 1.5 surrounded by hash marks but doesn't mention any of the features Ash told us about
