Now I released a new app of my own on the App Store. It's yet another Sudoku app, but with some really cool features, no annoying ads and a pretty sleek UI. It supports regular Sudoku and also Killer Sudoku which I really enjoy. If you have an Apple Pencil you can also write directly on the grid and the drawing gets turned into numbers. And there's lots of hidden features like intelligent undo, double tap on a number to lock it such that tapping on a cell enters the number immediately, and the list goes on. If you like widgets on iOS 14 you can also add Sudokus directly to your Home screen and it will change every couple hours. The app is available in English, Japanese, German, French and Spanish. Oh and the app is free with a handful of puzzles for each rating. The full version with thousands of puzzles requires you to pay, because the puzzles are licensed from well-known authors to have really high-quality puzzles in the app. Some of the authors have created Sudokus for renowned magazines like the New York Times. Good pedigree! This is chock full of documentation that I'm going to enjoy digging into. Would it be possible to create an option for players, in the settings, to display or disable viewing the timer? TBH, I like playing in a zen-mode mindset rather than having the timer staring me in the noggin. Also, please consider adding sound files to the game Fabian Kreiser Member Nov 2, 2020 5 1 3 #3 Fabian Kreiser, Nov 2, 2020 A few people requested that now and I’ll add an option somewhere to hide the timer in the next update. It has a new zen mode which was requested by many. When enabled the timer and the system clock are hidden so you can enjoy solving the puzzles without any distractions. Additionally, there's a new multiple selection for quickly adding candidates. Fabian Kreiser Member Nov 2, 2020 5 1 3 #6 Fabian Kreiser, Jul 19, 2021 Version 1.2 is out as of today! Among other small improvements the biggest addition is scanning puzzles from newspapers or websites. The app uses a custom machine learning model that I built. As a bonus the handwriting recognition with Apple Pencil is also vastly improved. SudoKoi Website Download on the App Store Demo: (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
