Ahh I see that sounds quite awesome to me! I think I read somewhere on here this is only the first chapter, how long is it going to be and will the other chapters be released as updates or different games?
Hey everyone here is one last trailer before the release of Chapter I it highlights some of the other weapons/power ups, gravity beam, ice beam, magnet boots, scanner, etc. hopefully you guys will check it out and post your thoughts @Daver16 all the game chapters will be within the one game, and will be free/added as updates. Chapter I has the following: standard gun, the bomb attachment for the standard gun, Shot gun, flame-thrower, taser, the rock-saw, Grav-boots(double jump) 2 of the 5 energy tanks, 10 hidden medals (locate them all to get extras at the space merchant in the next update) 2 boss battles, 12 achievements, five station logs(back story) and maybe a few other things I'm forgetting right now Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel And thanks again for all the feedback thus far -Ash

Overall, the game looks really awesome! As far as the controls, all I can say is, I hope they were user tested heavily. It looked like you were having a smidge of trouble in the video. Maybe right side analog shooting, like in Star Marine, could work. I felt like the controls in Star Marine were pretty perfect. Nonetheless, I've been trusting devs a bit more lately when it comes to controls. Hopefully, the ones implemented work well.
I want this now! :O Currently playing Metroid Fusion on my 3DS. And this looks like the closest thing i would get on my Iphone (which i play daily, while i play my 3ds once every month.. heh).

I've always been a fan of buttons vs touch screen, but I find myself using the touch screen mode in this game. Release next week! brilliant! Anything resembling metroid is good for me (currently playing fusion on 3ds and zero mission on iphone with emulator) and I gotta say that first concept art...wonder what inspired that. Loving all the vids so far, def getting this.

I should be out the 22nd, I'll post when I know for sure in the next few days, but it will be heading off for review by apple later today I was delayed as I made some last minute changes that required a large amount of work. here is the latest, I switched all the backgrounds/terrain to tiled images cause I think it just looks better/cleaner over all, and with this new design I was also able to make all backgrounds in the game parallax scroll much like super metroid! the new design should also allow me to complete updates a lot faster then I would've been able before, and lastly I overhauled the map! Thanks again for all the great feedback guys! It will be 99 cents it might go up as I add chapters, but if I'm lucky enough to get good sales i'll keep it at 99. version one also has an extra weapon (The Rock Saw) you won't be able to get in future updates, something cool for people who grab the game at launch

Was this developer with Game Salad, like Bridge the Gap? SZC looks very promising but a lot of Game Salad games I fear fail to run smoothly.

I'm shooting to have Chapter II out not long after launch, with lots of new areas to explore. the map shown in the images posted accounts for 1/4 of the total map size by the games end @undeadcow it will only run on iPhone4 and iPad2 maybe iPad one, I'll be testing that later today. but so far I've had only one crash report on a iPad2 durning a boss battle, I tested in both my iPhone4 and iPad2 and it worked fine. I'm looking into it now. it's all looking pretty smooth (fingers crossed) New article about the game art!
