For the last two days I have not been able to get the TA app to work apart from just opening up blank menu screens. I have an iPad Pro running iOS 10.3.3. Anyone else having this problem?
Not working for me as well I haven't updated to iOS 11 because I like to use the app. Is there any information as to whether this will be fixed or if the app is finally no longer supported?
TA app no longer working on iOS 10 Does anyone know why the app no longer is working? More specifically, it's no longer showing any data. I'm still on iOS 10 because I like using the app.
I reported this in another thread asking if any one else was experiencing this problem. No answers (apart from yours) but at least now I know it's not just me. Oh and yes...I have iOS 10 as well. At a guess I suspect that TA has stopped supporting the app....we all knew it was going to happen eventually.
Yeah also still on iOS 10 because of the TouchArcade App. Well, it seems there is no need to stick with iOS 10 anymore since the app is not working anymore. It's a shame that Apple ignores how important TouchArcade was in pushing iOS gaming, I mean they where there from day one! They should have made an exception to to appreciate the work ta had done for mobile gaming. So sad, the whole situation.
Not working for me either. I use an older iPad for all the apps that won't run on my newer iPad, including the TA app that I use daily. I very much prefer to use the app than the current website and I'm sad to see the app go, if this truly is the end of it working. While I understand Apple's reasoning when it comes to apps like this, I do think they were quite shortsighted with regards to the TA app. TA drives its readers to the App Store, so why does it matter how it does that?
If you guys can compile anything weird that it is doing and send it to [email protected] I'd really appreciate it. I had to update to iOS 11 for new games so I can't test it myself. We have an actual support person answering those emails though so they'll collect everything and get it to the proper channels if there's anything we can do to get it working again.
It's not working for me either. It's like it's been cut off from downloading new information. I haven't done any iOS update.
I'm on iOS 10.3.3 and mine wasn't working either. I just went to take some screenshots to attach and it started working again.
