In my haste to get a better build out before launch (and hopefully any reviews.. Ahem TA and PG, I know you read these!) I did forget to increase a version number that prompts you to update your review on the store if you've made one.. So if you could remember to do this anyway it would be much appreciated!!
Now kick serve (= X) and slow kick serve (= Y) work, but slow serve (= B) doesn't work: I release the button but I don't serve. It never worked, though, in 1.0 and in 1.1, too. I don't understand how volley works: X should be punch and B drop, but sometimes they don't work. Is it a matter of timing? A should be standard volley, what does Y do? It seems a sort of high volley, but maybe I'm wrong. Training hub / Movement / Level: 3 = GaunLtlet
I'm ok with all of volleys, now. Maybe. Another bug: sometimes I could unlock challenges without requirements (i.e. only 70 points of 100). This game is great, though, and with fixes it will become fantastic.
Cheers for spotting the typo.. will look at that slow serve controller issue. Can't wait to get the game live world wide tomorrow night. For those waiting, thank you for your patience. Soft launch has really helped. Don't forget this is just the *start* for Tennis Champs!
Won my first major (us open)!!!!!!! Beat Drew in semis (7:6 7:6 6:4) and then Mac in the final (7:6 7:6 6:2). Gave me a massive fist pump in the air (while i was ona tram) so besides a few strange looks feom peope this has to be one of the most satisfying moments in my sports gaming history!!!! I lost in the US open an epic match 7-6, got one match point on my serve but missed it. This had to be one of the very best sports' games on iOS ever made!
