Why not a world wide release?

Elton, I can't remember when was the last time I got sucked into a game like this! Probably since the Amiga days. It's just super fun to play. Everything from a real life tennis can be pulled off in a game pretty much. Love the style and sprite animations of course.

Small feedback - the sound effects, especially 'fault' and 'out' calls just feel out of place and kind of amateurish. Certainly not the same polish as the rest of the game. I'd almost bet this is your recording of youself calling these out :p

Perhaps - if there is time/demand - a more digitalised voice (e.g. Street Fighter II) might fit in better. And also a bit more of atmospherish sounds between points would make this a top notch packaga from audio visual point.

But where it matters - gameplay is just simply second to none. Well done and hope you have enourmous success with the game. You certainly deserve it!!!

Thanks for the feedback.. Yep, I know the sound is the weakest aspect. (although I quite like my Umpire calls, maybe a bit of echo on them will help) More ambient and pre point sounds, plus more crowd reactions to things like lobs (an "oooh") are all on the wish list. Sourcing sounds is really difficult on a budget, but will see what I can do in the next few updates. (maybe I should bring back the commentator from the Covermount original? "That was nice, it's the best game in town!!".. hm perhaps not! )

I'm really happy with the gameplay :) great to hear it hits the spot for you too!

Yeah absolutely! Gameplay is wonderful and it does show you spent most of your time tweaking it. The tutorial is great too!

Really missed a game such as this which actually nails down 'easy to play hard to master' concept!!!

Am sure TC:R will have a permanent spot on my phone now.

Great to hear about sounds wishlist - great stuff. The sound is not annoying - just feels out of place with the rest of the retro assets. You certainly should not apply for any tennis announcer jobs though :p. Stick to the game design - you do this exceptionally well. Ok break is over - off to win another tournament.

Just realized I'm going to have to lose progress when I have to reinstall the app under the itunes account I actually have credits on.
Only part that sucks about using alternate accounts as I know I will be purchasing IAP to support dev for sure so I'll have to delete and reinstall under my normal account.
Still won't hold me back from playing for now though! :)

Loving the daily challenges!!! Double's matches are super fun too - different to singles but different in a good way - just as it should. Each match plays out differently. Quite amazing!!!

Very pleased with the game - can't imagine what else people would expect from a tennis game - charming graphics, top notch physics and awesome arcade gameplay!!!

Holy frickin' moly I love this game!
Wish I could just buy the VIP option right now.
The controls are spot on and that's super important in a tennis game.
    Love the career mode.
My only minor gripe is I wish the sound of hitting the ball was a little more prominent/had a little more "oomph" but other than that, this game will be played for a long time.
Add in some sort of sync (GC or FB) for multiplr devices and this is my contender for game of the year as far as I'm concerned.
Now release it worldwide so you can take my money! :)
