Long long time TA reader, I've always been too lazy to register though. But I am really enjoying this game and registered just to talks about it. A few things, first off, the game is really awesome. I'm loving it as it's been scratching that pokemon itch I've had for a while. While its awesome, there have been alot of crashes which others have mentioned. I'm currently at the beach map, my top 3 monsters are about level 24 and the game has crashed atleast ten times, I'm using ipad mini 6.xx. Luckily though, no data loss or anything. I read through this entire thread so I know what bugs have been mentioned, I.e. the wheel off and not being able to capture monsters. My biggest question though is about pvp. I did some research on this game and saw there was a web browser version which had pvp, do you guys plan on bringing pvp to this version of the game? That's honestly my biggest push to play, the eventuality that pvp will hopefully be implemented. Either way, great game, ive already gotten my .99 cents worth so I can't complain. Can't wait for more updates though!
Thanks for the feedback! The wheel bug will be fixed just as soon as Apple approve the update. The update will also fix a whole load of other bugs. You will be able to return to the first town near the end of the main storyline With the teleporting to Ranch the reason we have it is to give potions a use and the tournament battles would be pretty easy if you were able to rest after each fight! A Terra Monster gains a new skill (if you mean from the talent tree and not an attack move) every 3 levels, level 30 in 3 hours is pretty impressive! It's great to hear you're enjoying it! Yeah sorry about that, in the update this bug is resolved as well. The NPC was disappearing at the end of the wrong quest. Once the update is approved you'll be able to go to the North of Kingsbridge and get the next quest off of Laura. I'm impressed you've got to Kingsbridge already. How did you find Kings Cave? Was it too difficult to navigate through there or did you find it easy? Glad to hear you think you're enjoying it. I think we definitely need to improve the tutorial/demo area a lot and it's something we're working on right now. There will also be a guide on the main menu. Essentially you need to be completing the golden exclamation mark quests. To do this you need to have a balanced team of 3 Terra Monsters. Balanced meaning 3 different elements in your team so you can adapt to your opponents Terra Monster. Naturally by progressing through the game your Terra Monsters will evolve this isn't essential it just gives you a more powerful Terra Monster to use in battle. Regarding the objective to catch as many monsters as possible, that really depends on how you want to play the game. Some people like to get through the game with as few Terra Monsters as possible, concentrating on just 3 monsters some even try and focus on one (but I wouldn't advise that). But most people tend to set out to capture as many as possible and fill up Terrapedia! I hope you continue to enjoy the game, sorry the start isn't as user friendly as it could be right now! Thank you for the kind words, it's such a boost to hear things like that! PvP is definitely something we would love to add to the game. And if all goes well it will be added somewhere down the line, along with numerous other features such as trading etc Sorry about the crashes, is there anything in particular that is making the game crash consistently? Do you know if you've had a lot of Monsters resting before a crash? Maybe me and my brother need to shell out for an ipad mini!
What team is everyone using? My top 3 ATM: Equiness-26 Fouligator-24 Pandora-24 Interested to see what everyone else has, I'm tempted to use dozer I caught a lvl8 one and his stats are already pretty high for that level
I'd say a few weird ones happened on demo/ first island, I'd battle a monster then it would freeze after the battle and I'd have to close and restart it. It's only crashed once since I've left the first island, I'll record the next crashes variables I.e. how many apps open or tabs in my browser etc.
Great to hear that the issue has been addressed! Kings Cave wasn't too difficult to navigate for me and I got through there pretty easily. Though that's probably because I grinded a lot.
I mainly use Magicaneo and Carnivice. My third teammate is still undecided but right now, I'm using Gorilamp.
Is there a difference between different colored monsters? Like the rainbow equiness compared to the white maned one?
The rainbow equines didn't make it into the mobile game. But Mechadozer, dark dozer etc have better stats and a different move tree to the normal variants of that monster
Hi dev, I didnt play the computer version so i wanna know if you just implement all the monsters with same stats,skills and levels/evos into mobile version? For example does Aquanin evo in mobile version at same level as in computer version? I cant see this information in the mobile game. Thx And another question: how to get those dozers? Is it possible in first newbie map?
I noticed a few differences from what the dev mentioned, idk if levels and things all changed in some monsters, but from the monsters I've been using according to the terramonsters Wikipedia they've been evolving at the right levels
When u reach lvl 30 its hard to lvl with low exp u get in newbie map. I use Flofox and Aquanin. But my Florox is still lvl 13 only
Danng you got to 30 on the first island? Lol I just hit 30 on the second "gym" tournement. I want to battle someone to see how good my team is lol
Yea my Aquanin is nearly lvl 35 now. Its sooo damn slow to level up. How much exp you get after newbie land per npc fight? Max?
Umm in the second gym (you can fight as many times as you want) I think the guys give around 2 or 3k a battle can't remember which, but I kept fighting them to level up before moving on, def gets faster once you leave first island I just finished getting my top 3 to 30, I want to change a few out, my fouligator for this turtle tank I can't remember his name, and maybe my equiness for a magicaneo, but haven't caught either one yet Edit:his name is tortitank I think I want him as my main damage sponge
