Here's an Aesop fable that speaks to your situation http://www.bartleby.com/17/1/62.html I say: pick what you like -- you'll never please everyone. Thank you for the great games.
I'm ashamed I used to watch that show. And great games guys! Bought TouchGrind, awesome game! Just never got around to Sway Looks so good, but I can't afford it aha. iTunes Account Balance: 0$. Anyways i'm casting my votes next week because i'm still undecided. EDIT: Just found out voting ends tonight! I'll cast my vote in an hour then Pro-crastination
iReview, sway has a lite still I believe. Has a good chunk of levels, too. ... You used to watch that show?
Extremely stupid show (IMO, at least) that teaches kids to be active... by making them watch TV. Every time my little brother flipped it on, my soul begged me to drug, gag, and throw him into a chest while I give the TV the "Office Space Fax Machine" treatment. Edit: lol, I posted in the thread and forgot the give IllusionLabs a congratulations. High-five guys, Sway was awesome, and Touch Grind, even though I could never tell where the hell it was going, is nearly equally as awesome. Labyrinth is a classic, too!
Official, as in it's arranged by Apple, no. It's AppAdvice's award thingy, 148apps.com had something similar last year, http://bestappever.com/awards, where Touchgrind was awarded 2008 Most Innovative Game. Which makes me wonder why TouchArcade don't have one.. We haven't discussed it yet The others are on vacation and it's just me in the office.
Oh yeaaah the whole going around without any pants on stuff hahaha. Do the right thing! Make a decision for the team, they'll thank you later! (I'm so sorry donkei =P) Anyway, shame on those responsible for the majority of the list.
Didn't go that well, but at least Touchgrind was awarded "Best Game for Innovative Game Controls": http://tinyurl.com/kodym9
Agreed, I had hoped for a Sway 2, in the future, but seeing as how it never really caught on, I'm SOL.
Well, we don't know either. It did ok in other parts of the world, but not in the US. Perhaps people thought it was too cute? Little Big Planet didn't do "well" either for instance. Or perhaps people don't like platformers? Or was it too hard to grasp the controls? You never know what happends in the future! About the future, we have some new info about our next game on our website.
Yeah you are a... in... umm.. doing stuff, but yeah, it's going to be awesome! That's actually in-game graphics, so that's one clue at least!
