You mean the universally acclaimed game across all platforms that we get for a discount because of iOS pricing?
Yeah that's always kind of a pain too and often overlooked. My goal was just deciding to get the game or pass on it not debate. If new content was free, I would get it. If updates were coming through separate apps that would work too. They arent, so i gotta pass. If later they release a final version with all the content and no IAP I'll get it then. Price isn't even an issue. Still I have more games than I probably could play over the next console gen even if I don't buy another. No big deal to pass on one. Thanks for clueing me in on the IAP.
And it will be cheaper if you wait on iOS. As for performance: having it as nighttime "reading" in bed made it worth it on my phone (technical hiccups and all) vs having it on my PS3 where I'd rather boot up Borderlands 2 than play an interactive movie. Getting back to this game, .99 seems reasonable to try it out. If I'm patient (heh, no...) I could just wait for this first chapter to be free one day.
I think you're thinking of the Adventure game, which was priced for some reason at 5 bucks for chapter one for awhile but now seems to be permanently free.
It's all good, I feel the same way, I'm just too impulsive not to smash the buy button . Also, a shame it's real time...I had thought this was a turn based game. Command and Conquer really screwed the strategy gaming landscape for us turn-base'ers. Can you at least pause while issuing orders? Crap, I hate being not being given time to think when playing games that supposedly reward thoughtfulness.
Should have figured something for the 2nd half of the 3rd season. I had this on my appshopper and as soon as I saw it, I picked it up.
