I am like you too but I am loving every minute of this! I mean saying just 1 more run but then finding something awesome can turn into 10 more runs if I am not careful haha.

Using touch controls or controller?
I need some encouragement for the touch controls.

 

Touch works, trust me.

It is gonna happen when you least expect.

Finally beat 1 run iPad touch controls took me around 30 restarts

 

Touch controls I got the right speed and damage increase items

Yeah cool.. I am on about my 30th run.. its really fun, and I have only made to level 3 a few times. I am not getting discouraged since I keep seeing new stuff every run.. But, also, I am seeing some of the same monsters and bosses too so I am getting better at learning their moves in hope to beat them better. It really all depends on that run though, and if you pick up the right cool stuff to kick ass with..

Running iPad Air 2 using touch.. and have also flirted with my SteelSeries Nimbus controller.. So far preferring the virtual controls a bit more.

Being a BOI player since before the Eternal expansion in the flash version of the game, I'm loving this on IOS.

That being said, there needs to be a very SLIGHT change in the control scheme. Causes enough problems to give you some artificial difficulty in navigating around certain enemies and their patterns.

Recommend most new players unlock Azazel as fast as possible. Use him for a while and then go to the one of the more standard characters once you learn the nuances of all the enemies, items and bosses.

 

Probably the best run I ever had and still going strong. Mega tears max damage can 1 shot every monster up close and kill bosses in a couple of seconds here the seed if anyone wants to try
