I’ve still got the original on my phone which works fine. Not maximised or that for my phone but I can play it and it’s still great I would rather a new app for sure as when I get a new phone I should be able to restore the app. Might not be able to restore the iap. But I’m not that worried about what happens to an app 3 years time or so and the price probably won’t be crazy or that
Damn, remember when I got flamed on Reddit for saying Repentance would be an awesome title for iPhone. Was told it would never work, iPhone couldn’t handle it, blah blah blah. OH HOW THE TURN TABLES. Cannot wait for this. Will spend my money on this game for the 3rd time WORTH EVERY PENNY
I know how this feels. Had the same thing for Slay the Spire, and Gunfire Reborn. It’s usually PC elitists that don’t know anything about mobile gaming and think that Angry Birds and Candy Crush are all that mobile has to offer. Anyway, sorry to digress, it just jived with my experiences. Can’t wait for this re-hash even though it will be a new release and I still have the old game on my phone. Just having the game updated for new screens will be great in itself.

Yeah, it’s been there for a while now. Still wish there was more info on how the update will be handled (new app or IAP to the old one)

Easy! Quite a lot of people had seen the post on twitter. Maybe they got flooded by applications. They told us to mention what we could do. That’s potentially a lot of reading.
I doubt the devs would reply if you’re not selected. Only if you are selected As you said they’re probably flooded by emails and will never reply to every one
Yeah cause Ed and Tyrone are not only busy but Issac has a huge cult fan base. I would also like to know if it will be a new app. If they will update rebirth and add a dlc add on option to unlock repentance.
Don’t think anyone would’ve. Isaac is huge and guess this is very small and mainly for people Ed and Tyrone know, and TA is a very small portion of the internet. That beta announcement was just nice because it means the game is probably coming this year.
Beta has started, I think about a week ago. Some images are being posted on discord. One image suggests it will have iap bundles for the new content. 3 iap tiers. The Afterbirth (by itself) , Afterbirth+ (which Includes Afterbirth) and Repentance ( which includes Afterbirth and Afterbirth+). Tyrone hasn’t posted or confirmed this. Just beta images from the testers. So things can change.
Not sure but It appears to be that way. The iOS iaps bundles might also be the same price as the steam version too (based on the picture.) But will see when they release the content.
